San Juan Safaris - Whale Watching

Thank you, San Juan Safaris, for making one of my dreams come true: to see Orcas!!! Out of all of the whale watching companies I considered, this one stood out for its great energy and fair rates. The captain and crew were warm, welcoming, friendly, and so knowledgeable. The San Juan Safaris team as a whole created an unforgettable experience. And the trip was an absolute dream. 100% recommend and I can't wait to go back!

From start to finish the crew was focused on safety and making sure the experience was there! With the knowledge of the experience crew we were learning about the local islands and the local marine life. But the cherry on top was we were able to experience a family of whales a mother and her Three baby’s enjoying a beautiful spring day! We walked on the boat and greeted by Captain Gabe and his crew! They all kept us informed the entire trip on what to expect and what was happening! The respect to the wild life that the crew had led me to enjoy the experience even more. A beautiful family of whales mother and three babies were in the area and it was so amazing to learn their family history. San Juan Safari and the crew is the absolute best. From start to finish, this experience was absolutely amazing. Captain Gabe and his incredible crew—Kelly and Olivia—made sure we were informed and engaged every step of the way. Their knowledge of the local wildlife was impressive, and they enthusiastically pointed out everything from deer, goats, and eagles on Mystery Island to sea lions and salmon leaping through the water. But the highlight of the trip? Seeing a family of four orcas in the wild! It was a dream come true and truly a bucket list moment I’ll never forget. Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better, we went on a search for the elusive Minke Whale—and found it! That was the cherry on top of an unforgettable journey through the Salish Sea. If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife adventure with a passionate and knowledgeable crew, this is it. Highly recommend!
