Outer Island Excursions - Whale Watching Tours & Fishing Charters

We went on a tour today with Liberty and Matt. i wasn’t too optimistic we were going to see whales in November, but wanted to try and I am so glad we did!! We saw a pod of 5 orcas and it was absolutely so special. You can really tell Liberty is passionate about her job and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this experience!!

We booked our whale watching excursion out of Orcas Island on 9/24/25, and it was an unforgettable experience. My wife and I had an absolute blast with Tiffany and Jarrett, who made the trip fun and memorable. We were lucky enough to see several orcas, including watching them feed from a distance and even breach the surface a few times. Truly a bucket list experience we’ll never forget, thank you!

I took a trip after the summer season and it was an amazing experience! It was a bright and sunny day and the whales were plentiful! I went on a whale watching tour with my family run by Outer Islands Excursions at the beginning of October with Sheila, Elliott, and Celeste. The tour was a great time as Elliott captained the boat smoothly in the choppy fall seas and Sheila & Celeste entertained my various questions about island life and issues. The tour ran long and we traveled far, but Elliott made good on the company guarantee of Whales. It was a good tour and something everyone in my family could participate in. Credit to both Sheila and Celeste for having answers for all my questions.

I booked the Orcas Only tour with Outer Island Excursions and had an outstanding experience. The boat was brand new, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. I called the office directly, and they matched the best price I could find online.
