We booked a last minute tour with Maya’s Legacy and it did not disappoint! It was so much fun being on the water on the lookout for any sea creatures. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and made sure we were getting good view of any animals. It was even more incredible once we say the Orcas and our guide took professional photos and sent them to us afterward. I loved the more intimate ride, and not being crowded with too many people. Great experience!

Our trip was simply amazing! Captain Alan and April were very knowledge and accommodating. We spotted humpback whales fairly early into our trip but they heard that Northern Resident Killer Whales were spotted over 1.5 hours away. They extended our trip and look us to the location. It was a bucket list item and so amazing to watch! I highly recommend Maya’s as the groups are small, the boat is very comfortable and has enclosed and exposed areas, and the team was awesome! Thanks so much Alan and April for going the extra mile for us!

This was probably the most awesome tour I have done in years! I enjoyed the smaller number of people which allowed for being able to hear all of the information better. All marine life was touched upon from birds to sea lions to whales and we were given a terrific amount of time to try and capture pictures of them. The crew were very knowledgeable, helpful, informative and kind. The absolute best part was getting to view the 2 week old Orca with it's pod. What a beautiful and overwhelming moment! Thank you so much to Maya's Legacy!

What an amazing day on the water! Jeff and April were absolutely incredible. The passion and dedication towards the whales and wildlife was remarkable. Not only did we see plenty of amazing orcas, we had a blast. Boat was extremely comfortable and safe. Plenty of viewing areas for all to see. Great explanations of the land and wildlife. Overall highly recommend. I did a half day, and it was more than enough time on the water. Thank you April and Jeff, keep doing what you’re doing! See you again!

Wish I could give 10 stars! We were lucky enough to go on two tours with Jeff and April, neither tour disappointed. On the first day we had an incredible encounter with two humpback whales and the second day we were able to see orcas, outside of the whales Jeff and April pointed out plenty of other wildlife such as eagles, harbor seals, and otters. It’s clear how passionate they are about their work. I hope we can visit again in the future!
