Gig Harbor Gondola should be a bucket list item for anyone who loves the Northwest! We've lived in Kingston for 28 years - just an hour from Gig Harbor but never taken the time to visit. My husband and I decided to celebrated my birthday and the gondola boat tour intrigued me. It was the perfect opportunity to experience what we love, nature, water, beauty, history, architecture, and all without a "touristy" feel. Greg was our gondolier and was genuine and friendly as he related the interesting fun facts, a perfect mix of guided tour and quite space, and three beautiful serenades. My husband used to sail and I used to row so this was a wonderful way to be on the water again without the distracting sounds of a motor, and under someone else's arm and body power! Greg clearly has perfected his skills and loves his work, and it shows. We will definitely bring future guests for this tour and will now spend more time in Gig Harbor and its charms as it feels familiar and friendly.

John, the owner operator, was amazing! He is personable and accommodating. He started off making sure we had our needs met before disembarking. Restrooms are available on site and snacks are available to purchase from a nearby snck and beverage trolley when open. John's knowledge of the area, presented with nonobtrusive interjections of information about the history, use, and inhabitants of the marina, was impressive. We saw some wildlife as well as human users of the space, which included several local rowing groups. It was the best Valentine's Day surprise yet! Would highly recommend! Bonus: he's one of the few gondoliers who sing!

Unique, fun experience! My cousins and I went on a 90 minute morning gondola ride. We brought mimosas and simple snacks. Greg was welcoming and helpful and the entire process was easy. He had a beautiful voice and it was interesting to learn about the history and we slowly toured the harbor. The weather was partly cloudy which was great because when the sun came out it was hot. I would definitely do it again!

My husband surprised me with a date day. We headed over to the Gig Harbor/Purdy area for the day. We went to Penrose State Park, then Rosedale Gardens, then out to eat at Anthony's in Gig Harbor, followed by an amazing gondola ride. I didn't even know we had anything like this here. If you want a Venice styled ride but right here in Washington, I highly recommend. Our gondolier was Greg. He was awesome. Very accommodating, kind, had a great voice... he sang to us!!! And super knowledgeable of the Gig Harbor area and history. He provided a ton of awesome info on the area as we road around the harbor. The scenery was beautiful. The mountain made an appearance. The water was calm. The folks in the yachts, homes and businesses along our path were nice, welcoming and loved to send a wave. We were out on the water for 90 minutes. Was just my husband and I. But the boats can accommodate up to six passengers. Bring a blanket, a bottle of wine, they have a wine key and glasses and enjoy the beautiful Harbor. Was so much fun getting to do something new and so unique. Check em' out!!!

What an INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! My husband's parents were visiting from AZ this summer, and just happened so their 50th wedding anniversary fell on the time they were spending in WA with us. We wanted to do something special for their anniversary. A dear friend recommended "Gondola ride" on the Harbor, and I must admit-experience didn't disappoint! Gliding on the smooth blue waters of the Harbor, listening to the wonderful stories about Gig Harbor, and to the beautiful singing voice of the Gondolier, all of us (party of 6) had an absolutely unforgettable experience! Highly recommend, excellent value for the money, unique entertainment, unforgettable experience. Great for any kind of celebration, and for the old, young, and young at heart. Thank you for helping us making great memories! We surely will be back!
