Deer Harbor Charters

We had a grand time! Trey was funny with his 'dad' jokes yet imparted biology facts in a memorable way. I am now more interested in whales and their intelligence. Robbie was a great captain. There was light hearted banter amongst the other boats' crew around us. Trey had a huge Lens on his camera and took amazing photos that are available for us to download. For free! We saw many many wildlife. But I have to say, even if we had no wildlife, the trip would have been worth it. I give this company and its staff two thumbs up. I enjoyed trey's humor and knowledge enough that I would enjoy just hanging with him outside of work.

The Captain and the Naturalist were both very funny and willing to impart knowledge. Didn't see any whales but still saw a lot of wildlife and had a fantastic time! I can't recommend Deer Harbor Charters enough. (Photos are courtesy of the naturalist)

Had a wonderful whale watching tour with Deer Harbor Charters. It rained the day we were supposed to go out, and they were amazing in waiting until the next day so that we had a much better chance of seeing orcas. And we did! The naturalist was fun and knowledgeable. The boat was comfortable. They provided blankets and binoculars.

Deer Harbor Whale Charter was a wonderful experience. Enjoyed the smaller boat with a dozen people on board. Our naturalist guide, Trey, is a walking encyclopedia with a great sense of humor. We saw Orcas and a humpback who did a full breach that Trey caught with his camera. Love that we could download his photos which included bald eagle, harbor seal, sea lion and deer. I would recommend this charter to anyone wanting to see whales in the wild.

8/21/2025: This was absolutely an amazing adventure! We got the Tri-Fecta! Minke: Humpback: Orcas! I even saw a humpback breach high and major splash! Such an amazing sight to see! Thank you Deer Harbor for an incredible adventure! Blessing you all for continued success in future excursions!
