After contacting nearby Sagecliffe Resort I was told that the resort and winery ownership changed hands. The Harvest event was 150 spots, and would sell out quickly. They (Sagecliffe) encouraged we buy tickets, and specified how/what date they were released. The Harvest and stomp event held by Cave B was the linchpin of our Honeymoon. I worked a year in retail wine sales, and learning about wine has been a part of our relationship. The hands-on harvest event is something any wine drinker should experience. The owners are passionate, approachable, hospitable, and want you to enjoy what they enjoy in life. Winemaker Freddy has an energy that is felt through the vines and tasted in his wine. The grounds are immaculate, a winery as picturesque as Italy, France, or Spain, but only a 2.5hr drive from Seattle.

Went there for my husband’s birthday and had the fanciest dinner you could have in this area. To get to the winery you take this long drive through a tunnel of trees. I can’t even begin imagine how beautiful it looks in the fall. The restaurant and vineyard look over the Columbia River (same view as the Gorge Amphitheatre). I’ve also taken senior photos here. It was smokey since it was summer, so outdoor seating was closed, so we’ll just have to go back!

A flight of wines, 2 red, 2 white: . 3 of the wines were way too warm . Cooling the white wine would have been nice. Charge was $20 but not worth it given the warm wine temperature. The dry rose was pretty descent and served cold at $14 per glass. A respectable rose, crisp, hints of pear and crisp apple acidic. It didn’t blow my doors off but pretty good flavor

Dreamy set up! My sister and I have always wanted to do a tasting here and finally made it, well worth the wait! The staff were very knowledgeable, kind and quick! There were many different seating options, inside and outside, with gorgeous views and scenery.

I am very new to wine tasting and wine experiences. I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is very nice! The upstairs has excellent views and the downstairs has a very chill vibe with a "rocky cave" room that is different and fun. The wine maker has excellent variety and all the flavors are very well done. The staff is polite and professional, they are very knowledgeable and helpful to new wine people like me. I had an absolute first class experience and I highly recommend this place! Treat them well and they will take very good care of you!!
