Candere Cruising

We had the best time celebrating my birthday! We got to reminisce about our sailing days in San Diego, miss our Catalina! The captain was so friendly and attentive. I would recommend doing this for anyone!

Fantastic, leisurely and insightful tour of Seattle’s Lake Union. Dylan was a great host and my wife and I toured Lake Union on a beautiful Memorial Day morning learning all about the history of the water in the region and Seattle’s use of the Bay, including the Fremont Bridge, steam-powered engines, tugboats, and got a great view of the home from Sleepless in Seattle, plus Gas Works Park and the variety of marine craft still in use. I left the tour wishing we had booked for longer! We have been to Seattle numerous times and will use Candere again next time for a larger adventure. Cheers to Dylan, Seattle, and Pearl Jam. In 2021, we took the two hour Lake Union/Lake Washington private tour. It was fantastic. The boat is nice with a table in the back that can be either shaded or unshaded. They have a full bar and start the group off with a complimentary cocktail. They take credit cards for the bar tab. The staff is incredibly nice. Amy was our captain and was very friendly and attentive. Since then, we’ve done the day sail and sunset sail on the Puget Sound, which is always lovely. Russ is such a great captain and host. This is a summer favorite!

We had a fabulous time with Captain Russ on our sunset cruise from Shilshole Bay Marina.. Communication leading up to the sail was on point. It rained the day of and Russ stayed calm, cool and positive that we would have fun! We ended up sailing right into a rainbow and stayed dry and warm under the cover.. so happy we booked this and would recommend to anyone looking for a proper Seattle sailing adventure. We completed our second trip with Candere last week before departing for an Alaskan cruise. In 2022 we took the daytime tour of Lake Union which we loved and wanted to try a sail this time. Russ took us out into the sound for a fantastic sunset voyage. We greatly enjoyed chatting with him and taking in the peaceful surroundings of a private sail before immersing ourselves in the crowds of a cruise ship. It was the perfect start to a very memorable vacation. We'll be back!!
