I love that there are so many state parks to camp at and there’s always one close enough to you. This campground is only 36 miles from my house, not too close and not to far away. I went with my next door neighbor and her 3 children, they were in a tent and I was in my old truck camper. The kids had a great time, the plus was the playground close to our campsite. Also, the beach was fun. Haven’t been camping since 2022, so this was a treat. I mentioned the kids having fun, we two ladies had a good time too! Great place for a day trip, or spending the nights.

Was fortunate enough to visit this beautiful place for a wedding. Nestled in dense trees, the place is beautiful. The property has gazebos, paths, well maintained landscaping. It was gorgeous!

Super clean state park with a beautiful view. went there for winter camping. It was sunny but the trees completely blocked the sun. It is rather a small state park most suitable for a day visit.

Shade is plentiful, making me feel this is more of a summer place to camp then spring or fall. Beach has nice views, is large, very rocky and full of shells. Difficult to walk for me because I use forearm crutches. She’ll covered rocks make the stones appear sharp. I still like the park and staff is helpful and considerate.

Great spot for camping. Beautiful beach wish people wouldn't hang the shells on trees. Camp site seemed pretty secluded until it got later and you could hear the party going on 4 camps down till like 11pm.
