Absolutely loved this trip! What a magical place... you feel on top of the world here! The trees were beautifully decorated in snow and ice each part of the mountain had it's own character/vibe. Absolutely loved the "western" and the lift operator dressed in a cowboy hat and stache. I'm OBSESSED with waffle cabin, so I was obviously very happy they had one! Did my 1st double-black here on Western, and it was my favorite run of the day! I felt like I was being trolled with the signage, because it's followed by a flat with no drop in sight. But the you have an incredible view and an incredible bottom half. The night portion was half closed, and they had the pow runs closed, but it was still rwlatively enjoyable.

We just visited the resort 2/22/26 - the 25 th. Absolutely horrible rental equipment. The people that work in the rental shop are absolutely no help. We had 12 skiing in our group and 8 of us had to change out our boots at least one to get a pair that wasn’t falling apart. We had two members of our group ended up hurt due to equipment malfunctions. Me and my wife tried to buy helmets and googles. Four people told us it wasn’t there department and walked away from us. We never could find someone who would sell us something they had out for sale. The employees in the rental shop are the most unhelpful people I have ever met. This place only gets 3 start because of how much fresh powder it happens to have while we were there. That and for how amazing the bus drivers are. The bus services that moves people around the mountain is amazing. Seen the lift employe sleeping on the lift watched him do at least 3 circles on the lift asleep before he woke up 3 runs with nobody working the bottom of the lift on powder ridge. That was after we snow tubed Saturday the 22 and the tow rope operator fell asleep in the box and let four of us pile up on top of each other getting off the lift because someone was having problems getting up. I would recommend you try any place other than here if you need to use rental gear !!! I can’t say it enough do not use the rental equipment it will get you hurt and they don’t care !!!

just got back from an incredible weekend at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. This place is a must-visit for any skier or snowboarder. We stayed at the Allegheny Springs and the location in the Village was perfect—we never had to drive anywhere. Our room was cozy and clean. For dinner, we ate at Appalachia Kitchen, and the food and service were top-notch. It was the perfect way to cap off a long day on the slopes. Already planning our next trip back

Wow wow wow. If I could give more stars I would. This was such an amazing place, I was very impressed. The resort is huge, so many things to go and see. We went for tubing (big family of 7) first time visit coming from NC. We drove 6 hours and it was SO worth it. The snow was beautiful, we will be back to do snowboarding, the staff is very welcoming and friendly.
