The beds and pillows were the most uncomfortable beds I think I’ve ever sleep on even my 12 year old complained about them. The beds are all springs and no comfort, except for a very thin pillow top so they are very, very, very firm. The duvet is uncomfortable because it has flaps that your arms get stuck in at night. The breakfast they offer is a 25$ per person Buffett that’s really “meh” at best. The pet fee to me is outrageous for one night I paid 100$ just to have my 2 small dogs with me. The room is extremely tight quarters so if you do have an actual family that you bring, you will have to make sure you’re not all trying to move around at the same time. The shower is warm … not Hot! Warm!! After an icy walk outside, a warm shower is not what I’m looking for! The only nice thing I really have to say is the game room was a good time and the grounds were well lit and enjoyable to walk around. I do not feel like the Quality is there for the price that they are asking though.

We've stayed at Sleeping Lady a handful of times and every time we leave feeling so rejuvenated and impressed. The rooms are incredibly clean & comfortable, the staff are all excellent, the food is great, and the location, amenities are so enjoyable. We recently had our wedding at Sleeping Lady and could not have had a better time. Jena and Kevin in particular were outstanding throughout the planning process. Everything went smoothly throughout the weekend and all the guests had a fabulous time! We had one minor hiccup during the Welcome Party and the staff & management were quick to address it. They were on top of every detail, super ethical in how they run their business, and made the entire planning process and weekend enjoyable and the best weekend of our lives. Highly recommend for weekend getaway, friend/family retreat, or even a wedding!

Deeply disappointed. Has the quality plummeted? This was my third time staying here, and while my previous two visits were great, this experience was a disaster. We paid $70 for breakfast (2 adults, 1 child), and it was a complete waste of money. Everything served was cold, and the milk was actually spoiled. To make matters worse, there was no heat in the restaurant—something we weren’t told until after we were already seated. Between the freezing temperature and the bad food, it was a miserable experience. I won’t be coming back. Don't go there.

My family stayed here last night and was incredibly disappointed. While the room itself was clean and warm, a hotel is more than just a bed—it’s an experience, and the hospitality side of this stay was a disaster. I cannot express how overpriced and poor the breakfast was. At $25 per adult and $15 per child, you expect a premium experience. Instead, we got a buffet that was barely a step above a free Holiday Inn Express spread. Most disturbingly, the milk served was spoiled. Serving expired dairy is a basic food safety failure that is completely unacceptable at any price point, let alone a "resort." The food that was available was cold, and the selection was extremely limited for a buffet.

Our family's recent stay at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort had its ups and downs. The setting is beautiful, but several service and maintenance issues impacted our experience. We arrived hopeful, but check-in was a bit of a challenge. The front desk agent was polite but unfortunately couldn't answer our basic questions about the property. This made settling in more difficult than we'd hoped. Our room, a loft for five, presented a few problems: · The heater needed attention when we arrived. · We noticed one of the window screens was broken. Maintenance did come to reinsert it, though the screen itself still has a hole. · We were surprised to find no extra toilet paper in the room, requiring a call to request some. A few other aspects could be improved. Daily room service is by request only, which we weren't initially aware of. We also had an unfortunate incident with a cookie in the office that contained a hair. The most significant hurdle was a lack of clear information about on-site amenities. My sister-in-law spent considerable time going back and forth to the front office to locate the laundry room, get a key, and secure enough quarters (it's $4.75 per load). The staff she spoke with were kind but seemed unfamiliar with the process, which was frustrating. On a positive note, we did have one excellent interaction with a staff member who very helpfully resolved a discrepancy with our reservation, for which we were grateful. The resort has potential in a lovely location. However, for the price, we expected fewer operational hiccups and more proactive service. With some attention to staff training, clearer guest communication, and consistent maintenance, this could be a wonderful getaway. Based on our experience this time, however, we'd likely explore other options for a future trip.
