Quimper Mercantile Company

A good spot to stop and shop. There was a nice selection of items available to purchase. They have many souvenir items, ranging from little trinkets to nicer quality merchandise. This was a good stop for us, since we found several items that we really liked. The store also offers everyday type items that would be helpful. The staff was very friendly. Don't drive by this store if you are in the area, it's worth the stop.

Not a pleasant place to shop on the day I came in. Only a couple people shopping. An empty parking lot greeted me. I parked the car walked in excited to shop because I had been there in the past. The first question an employee asked me after I entered the store was where did I park. Then told me to go to counter at back of store to scan my code into a stupid QR sign to getv2 hrs free parking as I shopped. QR did not work. They tried the same QR code by another way and they got a blocked message saying I could not shop there. I hadn't shopped there in many years so that made no sense. They made it uncomfortable and difficult to go shop there but they got it to work. But the experience left me feeling treated almost unwelcome. The staff seemed cold. Unveiling. NO SENSE OF HUMOR. Shopping for fun things while sightseeing is supposed to be fun. I will not be back. Apparent a new owner from CA changed the parking lot to this monitoring system to keep people from abusing the parking privileges during high season, but they do this intimidating surveillance year round. I feel it even was invasive to my privacy as they want your car liscense number. Prices very high btw. Just wow!

This place has everything. Nice layout, easy to shop, parking o'plenty. It's pricey, but everything is very high quality. If you're in PT, it's worth a look.

I love this store!! The greeting card selection keeps me in debt! They have a great selection of kitchen items. Hiking socks and shoes. And fun unique child toys and art.supplies. Seems to be a great place to find local gems to take home as a reminder of your visit to Port Townsend
