Diner Reviews
Visiting Yakima, came for dinner and it was so good I came back again. There is a specials menu that changes daily, and the regular menu items are fantastic as well. I didn't realize it, but on Wednesday happy hour runs all day, which let me get a nice appetizer. My one complaint is that the short ribs were still kind of cold when they got to me - I understand that they are all premade since they braise them for quite a while, but it would have been nice to make sure that they were fully heated up before serving.

Spent lunch here with my dad for Valentine's Day. It was great. Food was fabulous. Server was wonderful and gracious even though the restaurant was busy. Atmosphere was great. Staff was accommodating to my father who has a tough time getting around and loves to tease the help. The ONLY gripe we had was we ordered a cold berry cobbler to go and they sent it out warm. We can deal with that.

It was extremely disappointing. We have been wanting to come here for many years. We are from out of town and drove over an hour. To top it off right away, we looked at the specials and the menu prices at the restaurant, that chef even emailed me. When we arrived, the prices were completely different (more money 💰) than on the website. We did mention it to the server and all she said is that they hire a third party to do pricing and she’d let them know. Just wow! I have been a server in the past and if I was in that situation, I would’ve let the manager and chef know or I would fix it myself. The manager was walking around everywhere and stopped at plenty of tables, but she didn’t stop at ours. My husband’s steak was overcooked even after the server asked him what he’d like. No pink inside at all. Covered with sauce to mask it. My dish was COLD. Lobster was incredibly overcooked as well and again covered it with sauce and hid it inside “homemade pasta” which was not cooked! Everything was bland, overcooked where we couldn’t even eat it. I did see the culinary school where the chef supposedly went to and basically anyone can get into that school. They were semi nice enough and the presentation of food was legit but it was ridiculously unprofessional. I would be embarrassed to work at that restaurant. I kind of regret giving them a 25% tip when they didn’t even fix anything or for that matter, even apologize. “Chef” Should be embarrassed

Our togo place after a round at Apple Tree! Love the variety of their menu and appreciate the quality of food offered. Today we have calamari and thai lettuce wrap as appetizers, both were very tasty. Calamari drizzled with a sweet sauce and fried just right, whereas lettuce wrap was flavorful. Both guys ordered the wagyu burger which was huge and received awesome compliments how juicy the burger was. I ordered the hibachi wagyu steak, which came with mashed potato, tempura asparagus, bean sprouts, and a delicious hibachi sauce. The steak was on point at medium rare, so tender, done just right. The combination of ingredients made this dish very delicious, it was a but difficult to stop. Did not have cocktail today but their lemondrop and martini are great options! We come back to Waterfire time after time and it never disappoint!
