The Kitchen at Abeja

Great estate and wines. Unfortunately each dish was served not hot, suggesting a need for better coordination between the kitchen and front staff. Male server was friendly and nice but female server had no smile at all and not welcoming.

We enjoyed a marvelous fine dining experience here, the first week of July 2024. This was actually the first night with their new James Beard nominated chef. We had made a reservation in advance for the seven course meal. They called a couple weeks out to share they would now be closed the day we had a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us a different day. However, they only had the five course meal for us - which they didn't tell us until we arrived. All told, the experience was pleasant, but honestly we felt it was a little overpriced. - Signage/directions as to where exactly the dining room was, was poor. We definitely stumbled around a bit, and once we found the right place, no one even noticed we had arrived for about 10 minutes.

This was truly a magical dinner! We have been fortunate to eat at many amazing establishments and this is in the top ten for certain. The service that we received was impeccable the floor manager (wish I knew her name) was phenomenal. She was funny, relaxed and really cool... The food. WOW. WOW. WOW- I don't like duck and that was one of the courses and it was delicious!!! Just the right size portions so you weren't stuffed but you were making a trip to In N Out afterwards . We didn't do the wine pairing but had a delicious Pinot Noir and they made us feel super special. This was our 15 year anniversary trip! The server poured us some wine to celebrate us which was a super nice touch. The meal was perfection, service divine, vibe on point and everyone was absolutely friendly and lovely. I would love to get to go back and enjoy another meal!!!! Can't wait for that to happen-

A magical setting to eat an incredibly special dinner. Courses were perfectly curated, wine pairings were spot on and the food out of this world. Staff were exceptional; professional yet personable. Chef Jake and crew put together some of the best dishes I've ever eaten balancing savory, sweet and bitter creating beautiful bites. Highly recommended!!

We celebrated my Husbands birthday here on May 3rd 2025. Made reservations Nov 2024 . It was so good, food was portioned to perfection, every dish was thoughtful and hot. Tasty is an understatement, it was delicious and memorable. Service was impeccable only feedback from s servers could have known more about the wine and pairings. Overall it was 100% lovely and grand. Will be back!
