The Capital Grille

Wow. The food was excellent. We started with the seafood tower and everything was fresh and cold and perfect. Our entrées were also fantastic. But really, it was our server who made this entire experience wonderful for us. His name is Matthew. He was friendly and prompt and went above and beyond what you usually expect from a server. We specifically asked if he knew who the portrait of the lady near the front of the restaurant was, and not only did he know, he gave us a wonderful history lesson! He knew everything there was to know about every thing we ordered. He helped us make drink choices as well as food choices. I would 100% go back to this restaurant.

I brought my girlfriend here for our 1 year anniversary and we had such an amazing time. The food and atmosphere where amazing. Even the bread and butter where delicious. We had a crab cake, steak and some scallops and side dishes. Everything was incredible. What really took it over the top was the service. By far the most Incredible service we have ever received at a restaurant by miles. Incredibly excited to come back and try something new.

My husband and I are celebrating our 20 year anniversary in town and I wasn’t sure where to go. The Capital Grill had the widest selection (and honestly, the items were just overall more appealing). I booked the seating around 2pm and by great odds there was a 630p spot. The online booking option was so easy. There is a warning that the place had somewhat of a dress code which caused me a little anxiety, but when I arrived I was probably one of the most dressed-up! :) I would say you’re food if you were dressed in casual Sunday attire. The team was amazing! Table service was on point; your cup never ran low. The cocktails were the best I’ve had this trip. The food was truly delectable, and I’m not over exaggerating! We will be making one more trip here before we leave Seattle because the food was well worth the menu prices.

Every time we come here we are blown away. Our first time was the night before our wedding at the Fairmont, and our second was for our one year anniversary. The team at Capital Grille always go out of their way to make it special for us, and that really touches our hearts. We will forever come back here each year on our anniversary! This is a great place to have a nice dinner whether you are traveling through or live in Seattle! Came in for our reservation and the hostess was extremely welcoming and friendly, we were handed over to Andy from there and he took exquisite care of us for a few hours. The service was top notch as well as some personality dropped in by the staff. The food didn’t miss the mark either! Everything that all of our group had, tried or drank was flawless and packed with top notch flavors! Steaks were cooked perfectly! Seafood was incredible! Garnish and plating was perfect! The environment is warm, comfortable and charming! They have a large wine and drink selection as well as rotating chef features! The creamed corn and sides such as lobster mac and cheese were exceptional choices to pair with our meals! We will definitely be back! I’ll be craving what we enjoyed this evening we dined here!
