If I could give Passatempo 10/5, I would. My husband and I visit Walla Walla frequently for wine tasting, and after one visit, Passatempo became a must-stop every time we’re in town. If you’re looking for a beautiful atmosphere, handmade food, and exceptional service, this is the place. Reservations are a must—plan at least a couple of weeks in advance. We’ve never had a bad experience here. Our top recommendations: the carbonara, focaccia, meatballs, and truly any of their pizzas. The cocktails are outstanding—Forest is an incredible mixologist who’s made us several off-menu drinks, all perfectly balanced. For dessert, don’t miss the tiramisu and an espresso martini (made the right way).

Drove out to Walla Walla for my birthday weekend and our three "must dos": Stay at Finch, taste wine at House of Smith, AND dine at Passatempo. Innovative, approachable dishes. For this visit, I had the two specials. The salad—a sensory surprise of warm carrots on a pesto base with fresh greens and carrot ribbons on top. Main: Angiolotti. Beautiful. (That's all I can share, as I was having a fantastic time with my date 😍.) Service is thoughtful and well prepped for service. A somm would be such a bonus. Love the high-backed booths—intimate and tamp down noise. Thanks, Passatempo for another great experience!

What a fabulous restaurant Passatempo is. We sat at the bar and had one of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time. The spicy pepperoni pizza was to die for. Our bartender, Forest, was amazing as well. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm, we will be coming back!

We had wanted to try this spot on a previous wine‑tasting trip, but unfortunately they weren’t open for dinner the two nights we were in town. We were so bummed at the time, but when we FINALLY got to go, we were even more bummed we had missed out on such an incredible meal earlier. My husband said it might have been the best bowl of pasta he has ever had!! And we’ve eaten pasta in Rome, Elba, and Cinque Terre. That’s saying something. We shared some delicious appetizers, and I ordered the pizza because, well, I’m that type of girl… and it was absolutely delicious. We sat inside near a lovely fountain, which made the whole experience feel even more special. The staff was just as impressive as the food, warm, attentive, and fun. Do not miss this place when you go to Walla Walla. In fact, plan your trip around the nights they’re open. It’s that good!!!!
