Diner Reviews
A Charming, Delicious Gem at the Boat Haven! During our week long stay at Boat Haven, we absolutely loved the Marina Cafe! It's a charming spot with a wonderful, down-home atmosphere that feels authentically Port Townsend. The staff are exceptionally friendly and kind, making everyone feel right at home. The delicious food is a testament to the care and passion put into every dish. Our omelets were perfectly cooked and full of fresh ingredients, and the homemade muffins were outstanding—moist, fluffy, and absolutely "to die for". We also adored the little touches that make this cafe special, like the fresh flowers on the tables. It was a lovely discovery to learn the owner is from Hawaii; it adds a special flavor to the place and explains the delectable Hawaiian-style treats available on certain days. For a cozy, friendly, and delicious meal by the water, this is the perfect spot. We can't wait to come back!

Great early morning breakfast before heading out to the water. In the bustling marina, so not quiet. But for someone (like us) who aren’t local, it was great to watch and take it in. Service was perfect. The lady who owns the restaurant is terrific and was as nice as could be. Solid cup of joe. I had the sausage scramble and my wife had the bacon scramble. Served with a fresh (they make all muffins in house) blueberry muffin and some fruit. Not too much food, not too little. Just right and perfectly fresh. Will be back for sure. Wonderful spot.

Fantastic service in a very cozy local cafe. The food was amazing (I had the salmon scramble) and I really appreciated how hospitable the staff were. I will absolutely visit here again next time I’m in this corner of Washington!

We went to the Marina Cafe for breakfast this morning specifically because of all the glowing reviews, and they were accurate. What a gem. It's such a neighborhood feel, right in the heart of the marina. The food is absolutely delicious and comes with a delicious baked good (we had blueberry muffin) and coffee ... If we were staying longer, we'd go back there everyday. Highly recommend.

Warm, friendly, casual atmosphere with food to die for. We shared tapas including herbed goat cheese salad, stuffed mushrooms, shishito peppers, mac and cheese, butternut risotto, and more. Every single dish was perfection. Extraordinary vegetarian options with plenty for vegans and meat-lovers, too. I wish we lived here so I could eat there every week.
