Outstanding food. Interesting selections and combinations. Just wish the plates were bigger!

I've never been to Iron Rabbit before, and will never go again. We were looking for a local place to get fish and chips, finding Iron Rabbit on google. We ordered the fish and chips. While the tiny portion of coleslaw was very good, the fish and chip portion was equally small, and not so good, especially given the $27 price tag per plate. When our food was brought to us, the waitress dropped one of the fish pieces on the table. I'm not so pretentious to refuse it, but instead of at least picking it up and maybe offering to bring another, she just left it on the table and made a joke about it. That would be fine at home, but in a restaurant, not so much. That aside, we found full back bones in three out of six of the fillets, and some of the fish was still frozen in the middle, making us question how it was prepared. $27 for frozen, bony fish??? We did mention this to our waitress to which she replied "maybe the cook is having an off day" and brought us a couple complimentary pieces that were back bone free, but still cold in the middle...I am not normally one to complain, or leave a bad review, but Iron Rabbit is fully deserving of both. I am also not one to ask or expect a bad restaurant meal to be compted, but this one maybe should have been. We will chalk it up to an expensive learning experience, and drive passed Iron Rabbit in the future.

Hadn't been here in years. Had no problem finding parking and getting a table. Was greeted entering the door of the bar. We ate in the restaurant area as it seemed less busy. We had a cider and a beer. Lots of good options on the menu. We decided on the flat iron steak and a black and blue burger. Very happy with both. Steak was a good cut and cooked as ordered. Our food was a bit pricy but totally worth it. Our server, Kristi, did a great job.

The food is trendy and cute but not very tasty. This visit I had Diablo tips and the Iron burger with garlic fries, and garden salad. The tips weren't awful but too sweet and drowning in cause. Burger patty was tasteless without the seasoning. Small salad. Overpriced for what you get. For this price I expect at least better flavor.

We were expecting to host another couple that had to back out at the last minute, but that was our gain. I had the lamb burger and upgraded to the polenta fries. The fries were excellent, burger was tasty, but really messy. My wife had the curry with shrimp added, it was a good curry with a hint of citrus. Service was excellent, but it was a snowy day and that reduced traffic.
