Diner Reviews
Wow. Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Easily the best in Bellingham! We were just blown away by so many dishes; the dinner roll, the roasted carrots, the duck fat fries, the black cod, and the duck confit are all flawless. On top of the food, the service is exceptional. Our server provided a bunch of recommendations and they were extremely accommodating with some complex dietary restrictions. The ambiance was also great. We heard this place can get busy and fill up quickly, but we made a reservation for a Saturday night at 7:30 and there were still several empty tables when we arrived. Granted, it was the weekend between Christmas and New Years, so maybe it was a fluke. Finally, the prices are totally reasonable for the quality of food. We ordered a LOT of food and left stuffed, but only paid a little over $100 for everything.

From start to finish this restaurant and service was exceptional. I had the black cod with the sweet potato ‘sauce,’ and it was cooked perfectly with a matching taste. We were headed to a theatre performance and we had our meal “rushed,” and not only did our waiter do this for us, but the food was not compromised in quality. I have to highlight that in addition to the amazing food, the server was wonderful.

Great atmosphere and service was really good. Food was a bit overpriced but still very good. Overall very good experience, would return. Loved the NA cocktail selection.

We were beyond impressed with Estelle’s! From the moment we arrive the staff were welcoming and proud of their space and menu. We had asked to have an accommodation from the tasting menu that the manager (Davis) graciously offered us. To start the cocktails were fantastic only to be topped by the over the top dishes. We throughly enjoyed the risotto which was so rich and delicious. It was in incredibly light and fresh with the apple and fennel salad on top. Made you want to lick the plate! We then had the steak with Jerusalem artichokes. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned even better. The space is lively with the perfect background music. The bar and dining room has an incredible vibe and it is apparent that it is a destination dining experience. We were visiting from Vancouver BC and would absolutely make the trip back down for another experience.

The service was phenomenal, all the food was delicious. The rolls, carrots and ricotta dip were our appetizers, and all blew us out of the water (Surprisingly the roll was my favorite!) The drinks were delicious. For dinners, we had the duck with polenta and steak frites; Both were perfection. The basil crème brûlée is TO DIE FOR.
