Diner Reviews
My wife and I had a very pleasant lunch at Copper & Salt Northwest at Port Ruston! The food was absolutely delicious and service was delightful. We tried the Shrimp & 'Nduja Rosato and Chicken Rigatoni both of which we truly enjoyed. The Foccacia was also definitely worth it with the oil & balsamic dip. Generous portions and impressive presentation 👌🏻. We would certainly recommend for a nice meal out.

We had such a lovely brunch here. We didn’t have to wait to be seater and the drinks were bought out immediately. There were some type of mishap in the kitchen and we did have to wait for almost 45 minutes for our food, but the drinks were all absolutely delicious and they were quick on service so we didn’t mind the wait that much because the conversation was good and the drinks were flowing. Once the food arrived it was really yummy and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere here was very cute. We had a great time!

Copper and Salt Northwest Kitchen is an absolute must-visit and easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in Tacoma. It truly deserves every one of these five stars. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, modern, and inviting—perfect for a special occasion or just a fantastic night out. The service is impeccable; our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely added to the enjoyment of the evening. The food, however, is the star of the show. Every dish is clearly crafted with care, highlighting the best of Northwest ingredients. I highly recommend [Suggest a type of dish, e.g., "trying one of their fresh seafood specials" or "the unique appetizer selection"]. The flavors were complex, fresh, and perfectly executed. If you're looking for a restaurant that delivers exceptional quality in food, service, and ambiance, Copper and Salt Northwest Kitchen is the place. We can't wait to go back!

First and foremost, ambiance and service are top notch. Special shoutouts to Rich and Sid! These are the two main people that took care of us throughout the evening and did a wonderful job. Both were friendly outgoing and cared about our experience. The food would be the only reason this review has a four star rather than five. We started with the ceasar that was good. For entrees I had the Pork Bolognese recommended by Sid and I loved it! The hubs had the Ribeye. This was incredibly disappointing for him. Number one, the quality of the meat seemed to not be that great. The meat was on the tough side and had a lot of tendon. We buy Prime cut steaks at home so for a $62 steak it should at least be good, but unfortunately this one was not. The potatoes were just blah and dry the entire dish was just a disappointment. Next on the list was the 4 pieces of focacia bread that seemed stale and like they had been sliced for a while. It was also hard to cut between pieces and a lil pricey for I believe it was $14. That was disappointing. We will definitely come back and give this place another shot, but we would probably pick some place else if we were in the mood for a good steak. We hope next visit we can update the review to a full 5 stars.

I brought my wife here for brunch on her birthday. The staff was very kind and courteous, sat us at a table with a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier, and were very quick to serve us. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the smoked salmon benedict, and it was it was perfect! The portions were very generous, and the drinks were also delicious. I will be returning to this restaurant, and I recommend it!
