Diner Reviews
Felt like we stepped into Paris! The French vibes were perfect here. Great wine list at reasonable prices and so many of our favorite French things! The pate was incredible as was the steak! I loved the mussels so much!

On Main Street in a quaint college town surrounded by viticulture, we happened upon this charming French restaurant. The server was lovely, and knowledgeable about the cuisine and wine while accommodating a gluten allergy. I loved every minute of our dining experience.

I was absolutely delighted with my experience this evening at Brasserie Four. With it being Restaurant Month, I was excited to explore some new menu items — even after enjoying wonderful meals here since 2016. I began with the green salad, and while it’s rare that a salad truly impresses me, this one exceeded all expectations. It was beautifully composed with abundant greens, walnuts, tomatoes, oranges, blueberries, chèvre, and a light vinaigrette — all in a very generous portion. Truly outstanding. I couldn’t resist asking to add French onion soup to the three-course menu. It has always been my favorite, and it continues to live up to that reputation — rich, comforting, and perfectly executed. For my entrée, I had the Coq au Vin. It was hearty, generous, deeply flavorful, and completely satisfying. I even asked if it might remain on the menu longer because I can’t recommend it highly enough. I finished with the one-ounce cheese selection. I forgot to ask which cheese it was, but it was creamy, earthy, savory, and absolutely delicious. Served with extra baguette and fresh apple slices, it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. My very first experience here made me fall in love with Walla Walla and ultimately inspired my move in 2020. Brasserie Four continues to be a favorite of mine and a place I will enthusiastically recommend to anyone who will listen. Bravo to the entire team!

I love this place. The only place in town to get French food, but it is reasonably priced ($70 for 2) and very good. Service is excellent. Good wine selection and desserts. Good daily specials. The only downside is that it is noisy and difficult to have a conversation.

Our server was excellent, Apps and soups were very good. They served a well done special rib eye as a medium to medium rare. Steak was very thin, difficult to cook. They offered to provide another meal and the Manager apologized and removed the meal plus comped our dessert. Excellent service. We will stick to the french classics next time.
