Reviews
Where to start with a review that adequately describes Jess Caldwell and Wildkind Outdoors? Let's start with Jess herself, she is the embodiment of resilient bad-assery and the divine feminine. The way Jess brings people together to artfully create the most amazing experiences is incredible, it is her super power for sure. I have had the distinct pleasure of being a participant in several Wildkind Retreats, all of which were meticulously planned out making them rich experiences. I will attempt to do them justice with my words by event: Maui Women's Retreat - What an incredible way to experience the healing energy of Aloha. You rest peacefully at the retreat location on a stunning secluded tropical oasis overlooking the ocean with a pool and hot tub to relax in, quiet outdoor spaces for solo meditations, intimate conversations with others or group activities. Your body and soul are nourished with incredible organic farm to table food prepared with culinary delightfulness and artistry from Lauren and Joe @HarmoniousHarvests. The experiences were all with local women deeply rooted to the land and culture. Lei making, whale and dolphin excursion, tea ceremony, hula dancing and star navigation. Not a checklist itinerary by any means, these experiences are crafted to be fully immersive in deep connection mind, body and spirit. Morning movement, Sisterhood circle time, beach and waterfall excursions with time for relaxation, exploring the farmer's market and local merchants and food. Everything about this retreat is meticulously orchestrated by Jess for a life giving, soul nourishing spiritual experience. Rewilding Leadership Certification - a yearlong journey with a Sisterhood thoughtfully selected to embark together with living in connection with the Wheel of the Year and an ancestral remembering. Like the Maui retreat, this cohort starts out with a retreat to connect with the other women you will be embarking on this journey with. Ours was in Sisters, Oregon and was just as meticulously cultivated as the Maui retreat. We made deer hide drums, birthed them together, collected water from the spring, learned horse medicine, resilience/survival skills for urban and wilderness including fire making and emergency shelters. Ceremonial circles, and rich spiritual experiences to start the journey as a bonded Sisterhood. We are only through the first 6 months, but I got the value of what I paid for this from the first month alone! Each month gets more rich with plant allies, inquiries/reflections, phenomenal guest speakers, community service and our WhatsApp shared space. Like everything Jess touches, the women brought to lead and educate the cohort are some of the most incredible people you will ever have the opportunity to meet and most are published authors with such rich wisdom not only for their craft but for women in business. The soul work of profound healing I have experienced and witnessed in the others on this journey is beyond anything I could do justice with words for. It has been a truly beautiful Sisterhood learning, growing and healing together so that we are better equipped to heal our land and communities that is so desperately needed. Colorado Women's Retreat - this was my first retreat with Jess at Chapman Ranch near Cripple Creek, CO. I had never been on a women's retreat before and this one sealed the deal for me to want to do more! We camped out on this beautiful property, some of us in hammocks under the stars. We had water hikes, swimming at Mermaid cove, crawdad fishing, cooking out on the open flame, bush crafting, wilderness survival skills, yoga, meditations. I have been to a number of survival experiences, Jess realizes resiliency encompasses being strong mind, body and spirit and in community connection. A whole different experience!

I've attended not one, but two women retreat's with Wildkind Outdoors. A magical experience specially curated by Jess, in a deeply spiritual place - Maui, Hawai'i. Jess, thank you for intentionally acknowledging and honoring the history + culture of the Native Hawaiian people by supporting their local businesses and leaving the land better than when we left it! Excited to return to another retreat/camping experience in the near future!

This retreat was EVERYTHING! A perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. I've been to Maui many times but I've never done the local events that we got to experience. Jess is a calm, passionate, loving presence and she is an absolute gem to be on retreat with. The food was A++++ and we felt so nurtured and cared for! Will go back next year if I'm able!!

Wildkind Outdoors Divine Maui retreat was a magical experience through and through. Every detail was perfection. The Banyan Tree lodging has nice rooms, beautiful grounds and comfortable space for group activities. Harmonious Harvest provided some of the best meals I have ever had. The food was locally grown, beautifully prepared, nourishing and filling. All of our activities made me feel like I was richly experiencing the island and culture – whale watching, lei making, hula, tea ceremony, star gazing, dinner out, beach time, waterfalls and more. Jess leads a wonderful yoga class each morning and our group circle time was so meaningful. I deepened and formed friendships that I will cherish and look forward to coming back next year! I also did her online Winter Aliveness Training which was perfect for helping me focus my intentions around seasonal health and nature connection as well as providing bite sized ways to actually do it. It is a delight to learn with Jess, and she offers an abundance of resources to dive deeper into the work.

We recently catered for Jess's Wildkind Divine Women's Retreat on Maui - it was an absolute pleasure to work with her! She orchestrated a stunning retreat and provided a beautiful, empowering and rejuvenating experience for her guests. We appreciated how easy and fluid it was to plan, coordinate & execute before and during the retreat. She offered genuine care and love, creating an ideal, peaceful & meaningful environment for all. We highly recommend experiencing Jess's offers! We (Harmonious Harvest) are delighted and excited to continue working with Jess in the future!
