Sweetwater SUP Rentals

Great place to rent a kayak for the day. Helpful and friendly owner and staff. They provide you with a life vest, carry the kayak down and back for you (it's heavier than I thought), and get you all set up. I was a little nervous because it was my first time but I had a great experience. I don't know anything about kayaks, but mine was comfortable to sit in and very easy to paddle. Highly recommend renting here for a nice day at the lake.

What an awesome experience! The staff is friendly and helpful. Once you get on your kayak/ paddle board, you are on your own to explore the lakes - Lacamas Lake and Round Lake. Wear a hat, sunscreen and row away. You can also hike after! There’s a good trail behind their trailer.

What a wonderful opportunity to get out into nature and share it with my family. Sweetwater does such a lovely job of providing the equipment to easily get this adventure on the way. They talk to you about safety, carry your boat down to make it easy and tell you to have fun. They are the best and very professional yet caring. So far I took my granddaughter and my daughter out. Next week I hope to bring each of my grandsons. It is a great way to introduce them to kayaking, to explore our beautiful lake in the community and to get them out of the house during summer. The staff was friendly. I highly recommend reserving your rental online for a quick check in process. I only rented the paddle board for 2 hours and it was worth it. Definitely will come back for rentals when I’m on the area. FYI, There is no real building for this rental place just a shipping container with staff set up outside.

Had a first date that definitely didn’t go as planned—let’s just say a rope swing and gravity got the best of her (she’s okay, just a bit banged up). But the bright spot in the day? Sweetwater SUP Rentals. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the staff member who helped me with the paperwork. She had great energy and a good sense of humor—asked if it’d be okay to pass along my info to a friend. I appreciated the lighthearted moment. Gear was in great shape, the lake was gorgeous, and the team made everything smooth and easy. Even on a day full of unexpected turns, they delivered a great experience. Highly recommend Sweetwater if you’re heading to Lacamas Lake!
