Love this place, but the sand fleas were bad! I could hear them jumping all over my blanket. And one of the park works was an extremely rude woman towards my little girls. But anytime being by the water makes me happy. We were able to catch a beautiful sunset.

Our family loves this place! There’s a small trail to go down or up from the campsite. The beach is usually clean, our kids love the playground, and going on the pier to see what fisherman have catch.

This campground was pretty secluded, which we actually really liked—it made for a peaceful stay. We reserved two spots for two nights. Our friends were in site #12 and had a tough time leveling their trailer—it was surprisingly uneven. We were in site #11, which was much easier to level out, thankfully. The campground has public restrooms with showers, but be aware that the hot water can be hit or miss if you're planning to use them. If you're hoping for quick access to the beach, it’s just a short drive away—only a few minutes. Walking there is definitely doable, but it takes longer and involves going down a very steep hill. Based on the map we looked at beforehand, we thought the water would be a bit closer than it actually was. One downside was that the playground was closed due to flooding, which was a bummer—my son would have really enjoyed it. Hopefully, they address the flooding issue soon and reopen it.

The beach itself was lovely, but unfortunately, the playground at the park was closed, and the bathrooms were less than ideal, not very clean, and messy. We came for fishing and to our surprise had caught a few different fish, though we released them all. The beach was packed, making parking a nightmare and forcing us to walk quite a distance. However, the dock was much less crowded. Overall, it's a great spot for fishing, but beyond that, I wouldn't highly recommend it

Always love this beach. It’s been closed for almost a year for remodeling and went the day it finally opened and it look so different for the parts that were finished. Some areas are still being worked on. The parking though amazing from what it was before. This beach is always fun for beach combing and the views are amazing as always. Always great place to also find sea creatures, glass, agates and much more.
