Stayed 2 nights at the Cowlitz with my son and his dog. Bad wind storm knocked out power and dropped a big tree limb on our cabin. Power was restored quickly and the park service workers cleared out the fallen debris right away. Had a pleasant stay. Recommend walking the lake trail.

My favorite campsite in WA with my mini dood! Its beautiful. Bathrooms are clean ( which matters to me) Fun mini trails, water is clean , beautiful and see through .

This is a beautiful park right in the lake behind the dam. There are a number of dams to visit within easy driving range and it's only about 1.5 hours up to the Paradise visitor center on Rainier. Some campsites are right on the water but we stayed further around the loop and didn't mind too much as the waterfront sites seemed a lot louder late into the evening.

This is a beautiful campground on a peninsula with water around to fish in or use watercraft. Showers are available. The campground is clean and well-maintained. There are lots of pull-through sites and sites are good sized. We'll go back.

Hidden gem state park, beautiful calm lake with lots of fishing and boating, lots of spacious camping spots, lots of cabins, and spots with hook ups, has walk in bike in camp spots, bike with ranger and family children activities, dog friendly, disability accessible camps spots. Gorgeous ferns and mossy greenery, lots of lakes and hiking biking areas close by.
