Josh M. and Adventures in Seattle did not disappoint! Josh lead us on an incredible hike on Mt Ranier. His knowledge about the flora and fauna was impressive. He also explained the geological evolution of the mountain. His eagle eyes spotted three black bears, mountain goats, grey blue jays, badgers, squirrels, and chipmunks. I am 60+ and at no point did I feel like the 6.7 miles hike was above my ability. The pacing was perfect. Thank you Josh! I can’t wait to try your Seattle Green-spaces urban hike! .

Sophia with Adventures in Seattle was absolutely incredible. We signed up for the winter snowshoeing trip. From the very beginning, she was proactive in communicating with us when the weather forecast suggested snowshoeing might not be possible. Instead of letting that derail our plans, she was flexible, gracious, and helped us pivot so we could still spend the day adventuring in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We’re so thankful we didn’t cancel (which we were offered the opportunity to for a full refund). Not only did we luck out with a fantastic guide, but we also had picture-perfect weather — thank you, Mother Nature and Sophia! We hiked to Panorama Point at Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park, and the views were truly breathtaking. We were able to both hike and snowshoe, and the scenery was seriously incredible. Sophia was friendly, knowledgeable, and a joy to spend the day with. The 2.5-hour drive flew by thanks to great conversation, and she was extremely well-prepared with gear for all conditions. She gave clear, thoughtful instructions on how to use everything, which made the experience feel easy and safe. One thing we especially appreciated was that Sophia took photos and videos of us throughout the day. As a couple who travels often, this meant so much — we usually end up with mostly solo pictures, so having those shared memories captured was priceless. This experience was not only the highlight of our Seattle trip, but it’s easily in the running for one of our favorite travel experiences ever. If you’re even thinking about booking with Sophia — do it. You’ll get an unforgettable adventure with someone who genuinely cares. As a final testament to her thoughtfulness, when we accidentally left some items in her car, she immediately offered to have them shipped to us. Sophia is truly the best, and we can’t recommend her and Adventures in Seattle highly enough.

Adventures in Seattle did a wonderful guided hike of the Burroughs Train around Mt. Rainier! Our guide Josh was excellent - knowledgeable, professional and kind. The trail offers beautiful views - Alpine Meadows (wildflowers were blooming in August), forests of fir, cedar and pine, lakes, and above the tree-line, a moonscape. Highly recommend this hike and Adventures in Seattle. This is a door to door service - I was picked up and dropped off at the end of the day.

I had an amazing day with Adventures in Seattle at Mt. Pilchuck. Despite being the only one signed up and a holiday, the hiking tour proceeded as planned, which was very appreciated. We drove through mist and fog but arrived to sunshine at the trailhead, and unique views as a result! Josh was a fantastic guide with much knowledge to share. The hike itself was a satisfying challenge but far from overwhelming with much to take in along the way. Josh also took photos throughout the day and shared a full album afterward (a few included here), which was a nice, unexpected touch. After self-exploring Mt. Rainier prior, this was a great way to see something different, while leaning on others’ expertise to craft a seamless day. Excited to see this company continue to grow and offer more memorable outdoor experiences. Highly recommend!

I went on my first snowshoe hiking adventure to Crystal Mountain on 3/28/25. I really did not know what to expect, as I have never snowshoed before. Booking the excursion and pickup to the mountain were very easy. Adventures in Seattle will walk you through it. The hike consisted of myself, another guest and our guide, Josh. The scenery was absolutely stunning! Josh was very experienced, knowing all the trails as well as having an abundance of knowledge pertaining to the wildlife, vegetation and history on the area. I felt well-taken care of and safe. We also got to see beautiful waterfalls and try the water from the local springs. If you are is looking for a good challenge, great scenery, friendly people and good company, then I would highly recommend booking a hike with Adventures in Seattle.
