Very beautiful wildlife refuge! You'll feel like your miles and miles away. Also, the rangers are very nice & helpful and the bathrooms are clean. We didn't see any large animals (moose, elk), but saw and heard a lot of small animals & birds.

Includes a 5.5 mile drive through part of the refuge. Lots of trails. Moose, deer, water fowl, and more. Being patient, taking your time and respecting the wildlife will always be a good time.

Beautiful area. Beautiful park. So many trails and it's absolutely peaceful and perfect on a weekday. This park is worth the drive to check out. There's roads south of the entrance that looks like on maps that it's a much bigger area with intersecting roads, you could get pretty lost and it's perfect for that if you're trying to accomplish disappearing lmao.

It's a little bit of a drive from Spokane, however, that means it's practically empty every time I go. Wonderful trails and every single time I've been out I see the local moose cow and now she has a calf. It is beautifully maintained.
