I spent Valentines night here with my girlfriend while visiting family and the staff and management were absolutely wonderful in accommodating us. I wanted to have the flowers/rose petals I ordered in the room before we checked in and, not only did they do so, but went over the top with a great presentation and extra attention to detail that made our night. The room they gave us was very clean, comfortable, and nice to come back to after a big day with family. We will definitely return next time we come back to Olympia!

We spent a week here in November 2025. We were a little hesitant to book it based upon reviews and experience of the neighborhood in the past. However, we had no problems at all. The neighborhood seemed cleaned up and we had no issues leaving our rental car parked in the hotel lot. Our room was huge and comfortable. In addition to a comfy king size bed, there was a small couch, a desk set up for working, big storage closets, and a well equipped kitchenette. We had a fridge, dishwasher, two burner cooktop, coffee maker toaster, and plenty of cutlery, dishware, and cookware. The bathroom was small and well designed, very functional. Staff was friendly and helpful across the board. We would definitely stay here again. Good value for the money.

If you're a person of ethnic background, beware of this place! They'll profile you to death vindictively while overcharging your account. I have been staying on business via multiple monthly check-ins, typically lasting a week to ten days with a week in between stays. I was very consistent to always follow their protocols for payment, identification, etc. These people threw me out in the middle of a paint and cold night along with my 9 year-old grandchild after refusing to give us access to our room. This occured after I paid or their business took a hold on the account to extract funds I found, upon returning to the hotel after an extensive day of business for me along with school and activities for my grandchild, that we had been locked out after being baited to pay up front for a new reservation that extended a previous one from the Night before. Katherine is the person who overcharged me on two previous occasions. One was researched and corrected by the manager. I was told that the other overcharge would have to be reported to the bank. I'm still waiting on a call back I asked for my items still there in my room to be returned. That never happened until the police answered my call, but took the side of the business and became their defacto spokesperson. Even after I proved I paid for the room upfront and that Katherine refused to send the card authorization form she claimed her manager required her to get because the ne was different from the card (as though my husband and I who share an address, bank account and everything else couldnt be trusted to do this again). I just asked for access to the room to either gather my things and stay elsewhere or gain entry while she waited for the document from my husband (who was waiting to complete the form via email). She never sent him the card authorization form, but they took mu money and lied to the officer telling him that it was a "hold". Katherine claimed they didn't receive payment eventhough I showed the officer that the funds were extracted from my account. He conferenced with the and didn't even use his public peace officer shield to try to create a balanced view. Nice enough rooms, yet racist, targeting, unprofessional and not deserving of the Marriott name! Disappointed that I now have to take time to write the FCC, the Atty General of WA, the Corporation Commission, etc. Third rate, uncaring and HUGELY unethical to throw a child out onto the cold like that!. We did nothing to deserve the way we were treated. I just asked for access as Katherine stated they had ran the card and received payment but lied to the officer stating the evidence wasnt in the system as proof! Yet, why state they needed the authorization form which I had previously given and was happy to do so again? Looking for any reason to discriminate and cause unfair targeting and social injustice is morally & ethically wrong. I offered to have my husband give the authorization when I rechecked in. The front desk on a different shift repeatedly contacted me via phone to force payment up front earlier in the day, stating that I had to pay prior to noon (checkout of the previous night was at noon). The police officer turned that into me purposefully occupying the room without payment after 12PM when, in fact, I was paid-in-full by 11AM, four entire hours before my new check-in was even necessary. As a result, in retrospect of Marriott's guaranteed standard of excellence emphasizing quality stays - this hotel's owner group should not stand for Marriott's guests (or any guest) to be marginalized and mistreated in this way! Therefore, I expect and demand that all of my stays with TownePlace Suites Olympia, from 9 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, be fully refunded. I have already filed a complaint with Marriott concerning the nature of the matters referred to in this review.

Incredibly accommodating staff. Clean and tidy room. Has a nice new laundry room and a decent breakfast. I visit Olympia a lot and this is now my go to place to stay outside of an AirBNB.

The ac was leaking and amenities asked weren’t delivered on time or at all. Even housekeeping were decent to low. The place is i dont know outdated,I had to log into my tv ( for Netflix and other) and phone ( for internet) every day. I had enhanced internet, yet slow to load youtube.
