We spent a birthday weekend at the Marie and really enjoyed our trip. We stayed in the dog friendly Oak cabin. It is small but very comfortable and having a fenced area immediately next door really makes travel with pets much easier. I enjoyed the decor and overall ambiance of this historic hotel. We tried both a "take away" packed breakfast and a dine in meal. I was really impressed by the included breakfists (granola, yogurt, fruit, pastries for take out vs yogurt, fruit, granola, eggs Benedict and mimosas for dine in). Both meals were high quality and delicious. The neighborhood is conveniently located to both down town and the mall area. Our Innkeeper, Abby, took exceptional care of us from check in to check out. We will be back!

We had an amazing and romantic stay. The rooms and house are beautiful and filled with fascinating, authentic furniture and decor that match the homes 130 year life perfectly. The service was wonderful, ever detail was perfect and the two breakfasts we were served were two of the best we have ever experienced. The innkeeper Emily is a treasure, a great chef and incredibly welcoming with extreme knowledge of the area. I could not recommend a stay here more highly.

I came down for a weekend at the Marie B&B to get a break from my very busy, high-stress job. The booking and arrival process were very smooth. I picked up my key, entered the house, and was transported to a magical, simpler time. The house is decorated with exceptional attention to detail; there is local history sprinkled throughout each space. My room, Walnut, was charming, comfortable, and perfectly restful. (I haven't slept that well in a very long time!) Perhaps the greatest thing The Marie has going for it is Emily, the innkeeper. She was attentive without being overbearing, kind without being insincere, and a genuine gem of a human being. Her cooking skills are remarkable (I've had breakfasts at The Four Seasons that didn't hold a candle to Emily's); she explains all the local artisan contributions to the dishes she creates, and she even wrapped up some of my favorites for the road. More than anything, though, was the true spirit of hospitality I felt in Emily's care. I even grew teary-eyed because I hadn't felt that cared for in quite awhile. Thank you, Emily - I'll be back!

Holy smokes I cannot speak highly enough about this beautiful Bed and Breakfast! Due to some poor planning of my own I booked the stay with a check-in time of 3:30 with an important wedding to attend at 4! After a long day of travel and no place to get ready, I was stressing and at this point an early check in was unavailable. Just before 3 I got a text from The Marie’s amazing team letting me know our room was ready - hooray! Their whole team made our stay so enjoyable - from the amazing communication, beautiful cottage and absolutely delicious breakfast with some lovely new friends! Breakfast was biscuits and gravy - an absolute godsend after an evening of drinking and dancing. Location was amazing, just a few minutes from the capitol building but tucked into a cozy and quiet residential space. 10/10 I would love to stay here again and hope you get the chance to visit this beautiful B&B. Thank you again to the amazing staff - you made our stay so perfect

Five is not enough Stars for this place. Emily the manager is practically family now. My amazing aunt who flew all the way across the country to see me for my birthday was made to feel right at home immediately! The food was amazing and was included with her stay in the private little villas. The amazing staff, everyone my aunt came into contact with there was so kind and helpful. My mom is next to stay there! We happen to live close so it was amazing being able to walk back and forth and not deal with hotels and elevators etc etc. If you are staying in Olympia there is absolutely no better option. Without owners like the ones here, that are just revitalizing their amazing communities that need it now more then ever, well they might just be a whole lot worse off. If there were a Marie Bed and Breakfast everywhere I traveled it would be the only place I would want to stay or for my family to stay! Thank you for all you have done for our community and I hope I can get spot there again soon I know you all fill up vacancy quickly! So happy your expanding! BOOK NOW PEOPLE YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! Thank you so much for everything Emily! You are such a blessing!
