The Hotel Y

The upscale rooms with modern charging ports and high end amenities and the comfortable bed was totally unexpected on my first stay here. I was blown away by the overall niceness of the Hotel Y. They've got a , laundry room, pet area, and don't forget breakfast. With a great selection of biscuits and gravy, waffles, sausage, egg, and cheese muffins, burritos, oatmeal, cereal bars, etc. I would recommend to everyone to come stay at the Hotel Y, you won't be disappointed, I promise you. Also I forgot to mention the staff were more than welcoming and quite accommodating.

I was honestly worried when driving down the road towards this hotel- there are so many rundown looking hotels/motels on this street. I thought it would be like those other places. I was thrilled to find out how wrong I was. Lovely property, clean and modern, with a fenced pet area and right next to Crave Coffee. Fresh feeling rooms with comfortable beds. Surprisingly excellent complimentary breakfast. And the staff is top notch. From front desk to housekeeping, I was met every time with a smile from a helpful and happy employee. Stay here instead of a lesser than hotel that will be twice the price!

Hotel Y is our go-to hotel when we visit relatives in Yakima. It is a treasure at a very affordable price! The rooms are clean and modern, the beds are super comfortable, and there are lots of conveniences including plenty of ports for electronics. The entire staff is unfailingly friendly and eager to please, with Janie deserving her own big shout out for customer service that is above and beyond! The free breakfast has options for everyone, not just the cheap carbs that some similarly priced motels offer. Some relatives have expressed concern about the location due to the somewhat sketchy look of 1st Street in places, but we approach it from Highway 12 which is maybe a block from Hotel Y, and we have always had restful and quiet stays - never any issues.

Great price for a nicely updated hotel. Great mattresses, several types of pillows to choose from, and fantastic towels and wash cloths. Decent breakfast with yummy sandwiches and cereal.

I stayed at The Hotel Y for a grandchild's baseball tournament and had a wonderful experience. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and helpful and the location was convenient for both the baseball fields and restaurants! Today I called with some questions and spoke to Brandon, the manager. He went above and beyond my expectations with customer service and kindness. I will definitely stay again!! I highly recommend The Hotel Y when you are in Yakima, Washington.
