My husband and I had a quick getaway to Seattle and decided to try out the Edgewater. Overall, we had pretty good experience. Lowlights: We got one of the waterfront suites, which was pretty pricey. It was cozy, but dated. The biggest challenge was that the we could hear our neighbor room and footsteps as well as the train. I understand that they will be going through some renovations, and hoping that soundproofing is a part of it. The combination made this not quite worth the cost. Highlights: We really enjoyed our meals at the 6/7, we ate both dinner and breakfast and got really good service. There was also a lovely fireplace in the room and comfy sitting area around it. But the standout was Violet, the front desk supervisor. We had some bumps we brought to her attention and she provided exceptional service resolving them..her willingness to listen empathetically and address these issues will be the main purpose for a return visit to this hotel, even though I'm a Marriot high status member. Thank you Violet! I hope your management sees this.

Great location. Riding on past rock n roll reputation. Over priced rooms. Restaurant is only open for dinner. So breakfast (room service only) room is not conducive to eating in. Valet staff spot on. Front Desk accommodating. Bottom line, aside from the water views, there is better and newer, and less expensive options. But at least I can say, I stayed where the Beatles and Led Zeppelin once stayed.

Came during the winter. It has a great lodge feel. The water views are spectacular. The lobby area has 2 sitting areas with fireplaces. We were upgraded to ocean view. The views were spectacular. The room was clean and they cleaned it daily. The valet parking is pricy like the other hotels, 65 a day.

Can't beat the location! Easy walk to everything worth seeing in downtown Seattle, plus immediately adjacent to both the Seattle-Victoria FRS Clipper ferry terminal and the Norwegian Cruise Line terminal. Parking area is a construction mess right now, one main lobby elevator is out of service, and new for 2026, they no longer offer breakfast in the restaurant. Staff service throughout the hotel is awesome...restaurant, bar, front desk, housekeeping...they are all very helpful & friendly. Even when we are just transiting through SeaTac and need an overnight room, we go out of our way to stay here just to enjoy the local scenery.

Right as we entered, we saw the lobby and I loved the hotel from then on. The lobby was full of extremely cute Christmas decor. They turned it into a lobby bar. Everyone was sitting around the fireplace enjoying time with their friends and family. We got the water view room and it was perfect. Almost floor to ceiling windows welcomed the ocean in. The rooms were designed so that you could see the ocean from anywhere in the room, even the bathtub, yes! This was the fun part for me. We ordered wine, sat soaking in the bathtub while enjoying ocean view. The hotel is also within walking distance from waterfront and pike place market so it’s perfect!
