The Chrysalis Inn & Spa Bellingham, Curio Collection by Hilton

We love this place! We stay here whenever we can when visiting our daughter, who goes to Western. It is not, like, the Ritz-Carlton, but it has a clarity of vibe, hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort that is just lovely. And of course the location! The full bay view rooms are spectacular, with window seats looking out over the endless water and islands. The beds are always comfortable, and the service is friendly and responsive. Yes, there are trains through the night, but, to us, that is part of the charm, and they do provide ear plugs. Oh, and their mini-bar snacks are also top-notch and not ridiculously priced - local beers, neat nibbles, decent wine. We have also stayed at Hotel Bellwether and Hotel Leo and Chrysalis is by far our preference!

Beautiful rooms! We had a very large room with a book nook view of the ocean. Our bedroom was clean and the bathroom was fantastic. Jacuzzi tub and a shower. The little details made the difference. It came with bubble bath, full kitchen area. It was great. The customer service at the bar/resturant was also superb. We celebrated a birthday there and it was very special. The train is very loud, but they give you ear plugs. We will be back.

I visited the Chrysalis for a massage and my massage therapist, Paul, was outstanding! He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I have received many massages from different spas, and Paul is the best of the best. He helped relieve areas with built up tension, encouraged vocalizing anything that would make the massage more comfortable, and was able to answer technical questions about lifestyle factors and body mechanics. He provided me with stretches to help alleviate problem areas before they become painful and problematic. He also displayed a passion for his work that really stood out. I would highly recommend seeing Paul for any type of massage. He is fantastic.

My peers and I always stay at the Chrysalis due to a myriad of factors. Impeccable rooms, location, view and staff. Ashley at the front desk is/was very accommodating. After a long day of traveling and work, it’s great to meet someone that’s very engaging and attentive to your needs. — I stay at this location every quarter for business. And my company and I will continue to patronize this location due to great employees like Ashley. Chrysalis is one of one. If you want a great experience — a home away from home, then Chrysalis is the only choice in town.

Simply amazing. Right on the waterfront, our room is exceptional with 2 person tub, spa robes, king sized bed, huge tv, quaint ice coolers w/baggies of ice. Spa is beautiful but you MUST pre- book.
