Sumas Mountain Lodge

The room was very clean and private, and very comfy. There is also a restaurant downstairs with delicious burgers and salads. We chose this place to stay because we went to a concert in Abbottsord, B.C. The rooms are disconnected enough to give you complete privacy. We had coffee on our private balcony and took in the view of the mountains. There is no elevator, so anyone with mobility issues might not be able to stay here. Our room had a large, jetted bathtub, and there was plenty of hot water. There is also an AC / heater unit in the room, and a ceiling fan.

Cozy, homey jetted tub room and they are a small business in our backyard! Will definitely return. Worth a stay for sure. Nice getaway and not too far from home. Love that there’s food available downstairs at the restaurant too.

We had to book a last minute hotel driving home from Seattle in a torrential downpour. There aren't a lot of options around but so glad we found this place! We showed up pretty late but luckily caught the team before they closed up for the night. This hotel is so cute and clean and my kids loved the bunk beds. The attached restaurant is also great. Thank you to everyone who stayed late to accommodate us!

The only reason I am giving a 4 instead of a 5 Star is because the restaurant had a worker that was brand new (and nothing wrong with that) however, she had to keep going in the kitchen to ask someone because she was unsure. Why wasn’t there a manager or worker shadowing her and giving the proper training instead of just throwing her into it. Thats not fair to the customer or the worker. Aside from that, the room and service was great!

Loved my stay here at Sumas Mountain Lodge. we stayed in the church mountain room and it was great! spacious room with a balcony, everything was very clean and the front desk worker was very sweet! this place has that small mountain town feeling that just feels right. absolutely adorable and if i was ever in the area again i would definitely come back!
