I stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Downtown/Convention Center during a recent trip to Seattle and it was a mixed but overall solid experience. The location is fantastic — right in downtown and within walking distance of spots like Pike Place Market, Westlake Center, and the Washington State Convention Center, which made sightseeing super convenient. The suites here really stand out. They’re spacious with fully equipped kitchens and plenty of room to spread out, which feels more like a home away from home than a typical hotel room. The beds were comfy and the layout of the room made it easy to relax after a long day. Mornings here were pretty great thanks to the complimentary hot breakfast — fresh coffee, hot items, and a decent spread to fuel up before exploring the city. The lobby bar and coffee setup in the lobby were nice touches for evening drinks or grabbing a quick caffeine boost. Overall, it’s a convenient, comfortable pick if you want a central base with roomy suites and breakfast included. Great for families, longer stays, or anyone who wants a bit more space than your average hotel room in Seattle.

I was in town for a little getaway for my birthday last week, and honestly the staff was amazing! The facility is really clean and in a very clean and quiet area, close to almost everything. Very convenient. Our room was a city view studio suite and I was very impressed by the convenience of the full size fridge and counter top stove. Especially traveling with a toddler.

I stayed with my family and had two kids . Can not complain of single thing in the hotel . The room was so perfect with all necessities with kids . Highly recommend to stay here with family . The bedding was so clean . The room service was so quick . The receptionist went an extra mile to give me a corner room with kids . Made me sign up for points to get free stays in future . I am going back there for sure !

Overall room was not clean but the sofa bed was especially gross. Sofa cushions were dirty with stains and the pull out bed had yellow and dark brown stains on it. Asked for new mattress for pull out sofa, was told they didn’t have another one. No clean sofa bed mattress in the hotel? Yikes! Had to complain through chat on the Marriott app. Came back the next day and mattress had replaced, which is what they should have done BEFORE we spent the night with one less bed than anticipated. Tried to order two waters and a quesadilla at the restaurant. Got two waters after 25 minutes and gave up on the quesadilla after an hour. 90% of tables were empty. Overall huge disappointment. Marriotts just keep getting worse and worse.

Spent a week here. I generally avoid hotels like the plague, but I'll give credit where credit is due: The staff were all amazing, responsive, and friendly at all hours I interacted with them. The hotel was clean. The breakfast provided every morning was high quality. The room felt smaller than normal but also provided kitchen equipment and a great view. The provided kitchen was a godsend, as well as the view of the new Seattle Summit convention center, its strategic location downtown, and the cleanliness. I'd stay again!
