I love this cool, old hotel. It's clean, quiet, and unique with lots of cool decorations and interesting places to congregate. The rooms was quiet and the vent / heating system helps eliminate street noise. I would love to see the hotel staff trained to be more helpful and more friendly: standing up to greet people with eye contact and conversation, offering to help with bags or holding the door open, being interested. It would take little time but would go a long way.

Staff were great. Convenient location for what we were doing. Get there early if you want 1 of the gated parking spaces. (only 12). Make reservations for the Unicorn restaurant. We couldn't get in at 4:30pm cause it was booked till 7:45...A bit noisy with sirens and trains but that's location and I'm used to rural living. Lobbies are nice, quaint and fun. Very Historic ambience. Highly recommended.

Room was nice and spacious; very clean! Easy parking; staff were very friendly too! Restaurant/pub attached was great for apps, drinks, and some dinner; breakfast just down the street was also good! Had a great stay…would come back and would recommend!

This is a beautiful historic building! They furnish it with antique pieces and books with clear illustrations showing various changes throughout history. The atmosphere from the moment you walk in feels different. While inside the rooms you can hear other people’s voices in the room next to you but that’s expected with an older building. They keep it very clean and well stocked. The staff are welcoming and make checking in and out easy. I can’t wait to go back.

We had difficulty with parking and communicating with the staff about where we should have parked. If the employee would have had more direct instructions (that included "turn RIGHT on Maple, turn into the alley, go past the small parking lot and park in the lot on the left") instead of just "it's behind us here" that would have been great. Otherwise, the room was nice, the vibe was classic and nostalgic, the bar next store (Griffin Tavern) had AMAZING food and was still open when our show got out from the Fox. The location was perfect for attending an event at the Fox, as it is directly accross the street. Highly recommend if you find yourself attending an event there.
