I am always very skeptical of 1 star reviews and like to see for myself, but I’m telling you, do not go here!! A couple hours after my wife and I checked into this place, there was a massive storm and the whole city lost power. My wife and I had paid for a room with a spa and fireplace and we weren’t able to use either. Plus it was pitch black and freezing and we had no cell phone service. We had paid for a couple of days so my wife and I thought we’d try and wait it out. However day 2 came around and it was obvious power wasn’t coming back anytime soon. So we decided to try and check out early. However, when we tried to go to the desk, they had a sign on the door saying they were gone and weren’t going to be back until further notice. So we were in an unfamiliar place with no service, no food or water, no heat or hot water to shower, and no toiletries. Once we finally found our way out of there and got back home I tried to call and see about getting our money back. I left a message two times and they never got back to me. Then my wife tried twice and same thing. When we finally got through to someone and tried to see if we could talk to a manager they said no but we could email her - but when we tried the email was invalid. We had to research ourselves and try to find a valid email, but of course never heard back from the manager Jen. So basically, employees cannot give you a refund without manager approval however the manager is never there and you can never get ahold of her so you’ll just never get your money back. The employees told us that Jen never changes her mind so good luck with a refund. Even if you have to stay in a room in the middle of December with no water, food, toiletries and absolutely freezing. Save your money and go to a cheaper hotel down the road and just drive into Leavenworth!

This was an extremely disappointing stay. The hotel is mediocre at its best. But what the worst part is the poor management. The 2 ladies working the front desk explained they are not allowed to make even basic customer service adjustments to reservations without the manager’s approval, yet the manager is never on site, slow to respond to texts, and cannot be called. It essentially took me over 3 hours just to check in. We were only visiting for one night so that took up so much time out of our evening, it was extremely frustrating. Especially because the front desk ladies could have just pressed a button to fix everything but they were clearly scared of their manager. The way they looked at each other and spoke of their manager spoke volumes.. seems very toxic and manipulative. Get employees you trust to make decisions and help customers or just work the front desk yourself. This level of micromanagement hurts both guests and employees. I would not stay here again.

My husband and I checked in for a three night stay. When I opened the door to the room, the intense smell of disenfectant was toxic. We asked for a different room, but were the same. We opened windows and the door and turned on fans. It was uninhabitable. We left for a couple of hours for the room to de-stink. When we returned, it was still unbearable. I had a headache and was nauseous. I mentioned that I might have to sleep in the car and I was responded to: too bad. We had to find another hotel. This should have been, “no problem, it was our fault and we understand, here’s your refund”. NO. THEY WOULD NOT REFUND THE THREE DAYS WE PAID FOR. We ended up paying a higher rate for last. Do not patronize this hotel. The owner will not communicate with us about this situation. They do not care about anything but money

Truly excellent lodging in the heart of the Leavenworth village - very clean, very comfortable, and very gracious reception. Excellent value. No breakfast - not a problem - and they kindly gave us a bowl and spoon for our own oatmeal.

We really wanted to love this motel, unfortunately, their guest care & communication are abysmal. When making the reservation through Expedia, the motel didn’t answer their phone (after repeated tries) or list an email address, leaving me unable to ask questions or make requests. I had to send an email request for a first floor room through Expedia. (My 81 year-old sister is handicapped and can’t walk up stairs). The hotel claimed to have not gotten our request, so we were given a 2nd floor room. I didn’t like the loose handrail on the stairs and since there is no elevator, we couldn’t get to that room. A room with one bed opened on the 1st floor, but there were two of us. Long story short - my disabled sister and I were left waiting in the hot parking lot for over 2 1/2 hours for the manager to get back to us about a refund. (The lobby is small with a couch too low for my sister to sit on, and we didn’t want to be in the way of other guests checking in). The desk clerk could only communicate with the boss through email (?) so had to wait for the boss to check her computer. We finally learned we would not be given a refund unless somebody else booked the room (it was nearly 7:00 pm by then) so we took the room and I ended up sleeping on the floor. They wouldn’t give us a price break, so we had to pay $260. It was a disheartening start to our Leavenworth visit. A visit we had really been looking forward to.
