Location was great, staff was great, room was ok. The bed was way too hard for us, neither of us slept well. And there’s no temperature control in the room and it was too warm for me. Plus the hallway from the elevator to our room was SO hot and smells awful. Idk what it is but it was just bad. I wouldn’t stay again.

This is a cool older hotel with a nice remodel. The service was good and the hotel was clean. The only negative I experienced is the unnerving driveway into the garage. The driveway is steep as you turn off a very busy road and are met with the security gate. You have to stop to use the card to get into the garage as you are heading down the steep driveway, then at the bottom it levels out where you have to make a turn around support posts. If you move slowly it is ok, but it is a bit unnerving. The garage is well lit and clean and the spaces were big enough that you likely weren’t going to get a door-ding, but it was also not packed full so the spaces felt big enough. The other odd thing was as I entered from the garage waiting at the elevator there were two service area doors open that reminded you that you were in a basement. These service doors seemed like they should be closed to me as they were a little creepy. Otherwise I found the hotel nice and would stay again.

Unique Hilton property right on the main drag of Yakima. Rooms are spacious and amenities are typical for this type of hotel. Updates are needed in the hallways as carpets look dirty and worn. Only one elevator for 5 floors of rooms which can be slightly annoying, but that was a minor issue. The room itself was nice with a comfortable bed. High ceilings gave the rooms a more spacious feel. If there is anything that reduces the rating, it would be the location. Locals use Yakima Blvd. to drag the avenue late into the night. It appears to be a nightly ritual to some extent. People actually brought their lawn chairs to watch the customized cars parade up and down the street. Even though our room was three furthest from the street, the noise was noticeable throughout the evening. There were police sirens all night long, but that's Yakima for you. This annoyance would pertain to the sister property next door Hilton Garden Inn.

Room was very nice and spacious with relatively high ceilings for a hotel room that gave it a more airy feel. Better to have room that's not on Yakima St. as can be a bit noisy. Overall, very nice.

I wanted to love this hotel. Having read a bunch of reviews from a year ago in 2024, it stated the carpets were to be updated by end of year, but here we are at the end of July 2025 and at least on the 5th floor, they have not been replaced. They are still coming up, impossible to roll luggage and a tripping hazard. The rooms are fine, but inadequate for the price. The worst part is the location you would expect being in the middle of downtown as a perk. Unfortunately, there is someone on every corner that is tweaked out on drugs. It feels very unsafe ti walk around as they are shouting an approaching people on the street. This isn’t a fault of the hotel, but it affects the stay. We walked only a few blocks and came back as it was so uncomfortable. A lot of cities are facing this, but given downtown has nothing going on at least during the week the problem is amplified. Check in and parking is a bit chaotic. You have to park in short term street parking to check in and get a room key for the garage, but then you have to go circle the blocks to come back to the parking garage. When the streets are busy, this is a bigger problem. The staff was quite friendly and helpful - this was the best part of the experience. The lobby is pretty, but the rooms don’t match the level of effort made for the first impression. Overall the stay was a decent nights sleep, but I wouldn’t stay again personally.
