Home2 Suites by Hilton Yakima Airport

We brought our school music group for the state music educators conference and Home2 Suites was a great home base. The breakfast had lots of variety for varied tastes, there were spaces for our students to be social, and the rooms were perfect for groups of students. The managers were accommodating making sure our blocks of rooms were strategically placed for best student and guest experiences.

The location is great, although the experience was not great at all. I travel for work weekly and this was my choice to stay at. When it came to checking it I was informed on a tourist tax, which let’s be honest is Yakima really a tourist destination? The tax they claimed had to be paid separate from everything else. I’ve stayed at a number of other hotels near by and even they’re telling me something isn’t right about that. So continuing the check in and the manager says “just get over it, welcome to Yakima pal” the most disrespectful experience I’ve ever had checking into a hotel. I would not stay here at all if you have the choice.

4.75 stars. Only detracting because I wish the shower had a wand, and higher pressure. The pressure isnt low, I just like it higher. Otherwise, everything about this hotel is nearly perfect. Fantastic location, new building, friendly staff, large and clean rooms. I completely recommend.

Everything anout this place was perfect. I highly recommend staying here. Lots of walkable options for all your needs. The breakfast was fresh and warm. The beds are comfortable. The rooms dark. Wireless charger/clock combo was perfect for me as I forgot my charger. I will absolutely be back.

I was incredibly impressed with this hotel. The room was huge, spotless, and well maintained. The free breakfast was better than most. We showed up after it closed and the staff offered to turn some of the equipment back on for us to have a hot meal! Above and beyond! Would absolutely stay here again!
