Four of us were in Walla Walla Washington from the Portland area for a wine tasting outing. This was our second time stayiong at this location. The experience was better than excellent. The staff were very friendly, and they treated us like family. They have a great continental breakfast that is put together by Vickie. She does an outstanding job on making sure the breakfast is replenished at all times, and the food is always hot, if that is what you're getting. Vickie is very personable, and goes the extra mile. The rooms were very clean, roomy, and comfortable. It was a great stay!!

I couldn't complain with what I saw in my room because I checked in late and didn't have the patience to be moved to another room. Hair all over the shower. After I cleaned that and then showered myself, I went to the bed, opened the blanket and sheets and found more hair... and... snot dried up in the sheet and blanket. I went to the closet to grab the spare blanket and sheets. I threw the dirty sheets and blanket onto the floor and placed the spare in its place and went to sleep. Be sure to ask for a truly clean room when you check in, and you can reference my review. I was in room 101. Absolutely disgusting. I'll be talking to a staff member in the morning about this.

Toilet didn’t flush from check-in and took two days and three maintenance visits to fix. Couldn’t be moved to another room. The hotel feels dated and not very clean — sticky counters, stained chair, and dusty bathroom. We had to request maid service after the second day. One afternoon, an employee entered our room without knocking while my husband was in his boxers, and there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign provided. Staff did leave a handwritten apology, water, and popcorn, which we appreciated, and breakfast was hot and fresh. Still, for $208/night, this stay was far too stressful and not worth the value.

I organized a ladies’ golf and wine trip with a group of 26, and we stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Walla Walla. The staff was great to work with, the price was very reasonable, and the clean rooms were a big plus. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Large rooms. Clean. Fresh coffee is always available by the front desk. No microwave in our room, and our micro fridge had no freezer. The maids were awesome and made sure the room was fresh and stocked every other day. Breakfast is awesome the days Vicky is working. She made the extra effort and turned breakfast on a work trip into a micro vacation.
