My husband and I had the most magical renaissance fair themed wedding at Misty Clover Farm. Thomas and Naomi really went above and beyond to not only support us through the planning but also in the execution of our big day. When we asked Thomas if we could have an archery range for our guests he worked with us as we found a wonderful company (Majestic Adventures 😉) to host archery! Our guest loved every detail of our day and I could thank Thomas and Naomi more.

Words cannot express how special our wedding felt to us, Misty Clover Farms, as well as Thomas and Naomi were a huge part of why! The farm is such an enchanting and absolute perfect place for us to showcase our love. Everything from the communication before and during the wedding, the organization, set up, and the cleanup during and after the event, their kindness toward our guests, and so much more helped make this day so incredibly special. Thank you for creating such a warm, positive, loving atmosphere! The love that Thomas and Naomi have for each other and the farm really shows up in how they helped with our wedding and all the other weddings they've hosted. I have told so many people about where we had our wedding and highly recommend Misty Clover Farm to anyone looking for the perfect wedding/event venue! If you are wanting to celebrate a wedding (or really any other event) out in nature with plenty of room for everyone to roam, explore, and camp I can't recommend Misty Clover Farms enough! This is compounded by the incredible service that Thomas and Naomi provided and how much help they offered before, during and after the wedding!!! Not only that, it is also close to Port Townsend which is such a great town for your guests to explore during down time! I hope that you also get to experience this magical place and have just as incredible of a time as we did!

Misty Clover Farms was an absolute dream wedding venue. From the moment we arrived, Thomas, Naomi, and Z were the most positive, welcoming, and genuinely helpful team we could have ever hoped for. They listened to our vision, elevated it, and helped bring it to life in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Even during an atmospheric river, Misty Clover Farms was nothing short of incredible. The entire team handled everything with calm, grace, and warmth, making us feel taken care of every step of the way. Our personalized family-style reception dinner deserves its own standing ovation. Thomas and Naomi walked us through every detail on a planning call: our preferences, ideas, likes, and dislikes, and crafted a menu that was beyond anything we expected. The food was out of this world, and our guests are still talking about it. The service was top notch, the experience unmatched, and we truly would not have wanted to get married anywhere else. Misty Clover Farms gave us a wedding day that was personal, beautiful, and unforgettable. Wholeheartedly recommend. 💛✨

The first day I met Thomas and Naomi at Misty Clover I told them, “I want to dance under the stars at my wedding!” I’d done it at another bride’s and it was pretty magical looking up through the pitch dark trees to see the sky alight and twinkling. Well, instead of having to rent a dance floor, and since the lodge was still being built, Thomas felt he needed to ‘make it up to me’ by building an enormous circular wooden dance floor with matching DJ hut in their forest clearing. Yes they built a dance floor...for my wedding. Thomas and Naomi are the type of warm, supportive, hard working people who've got the kind of guts that give you guts; big dreamers who inspire. I just knew they were going to do everything they said they’d do, both for my wedding and for their own ambitions for Misty Clover. Additionally, Thomas’ decades of experience as a head chef, both locally and abroad, means you benefit from his extensive network of food-adjacent professionals–the cooking talent, the suppliers, the farmers (Did I mention Thomas and Naomi founded a collective of trusted local wedding professionals–florists, photographers, bakers, et al. in their spare time?) He knows a guy or gal for anything you could want served at your wedding, or he’ll know the right person to ask. For my wedding, he brought in his former pastry chef, along with his brisket expert who, alongside Thomas, sat up with our blessed beef, all through the night, stoking the smoker and working whatever unknowable magic happens between a chef and his brisket, roasting it to near perfection, for us to enjoy on Saturday at dinner (and again in Sunday’s breakfast hash). I hate bragging, these are all just facts about my wedding at Misty Clover. My dream wedding: I wanted three events over a long weekend: a welcome dinner on Friday for all my guests, the Saturday ceremony with dinner, reception and dancing (under the stars), and a brunch on Sunday. Besides this, my groom and I really wanted a waste-less wedding. Nothing is perfect, but if we could create menus with as little wasted as possible, all the better. Thomas took on this challenge to create such a menu (see what I mean about making your dreams seem reasonable and totally doable?) and I tell you, the people at my wedding were nearly dumbfounded by the deliciousness of his food, which by the way, was served in a forest clearing on a 40-foot table that is built into the ground. I received countless comments on the quality of the food and service: ”Best Wellington I’ve ever had,” obviously “Best wedding food ever,” “Gourmet cooking in the woods!” you get the idea. You’ll just have to believe me when I tell you I always assumed I'd have catering at my wedding, not a head chef, and especially not one with his whole family and team giving all their talents to produce from scratch my little dream wedding in the woods. I'll tell you one more story. On Friday, I realized that one of our guests wasn't sitting at a table at dinner. He couldn't comfortably sit on the chairs we’d provided. When I called Thomas that night, ‘Do you have a larger chair; a metal chair?’ He told me not to worry, they’d figure something out. Well the next day, there at my guest’s table, was a freshly hewn custom-made throne of cedar. Yes they had taken a (previously) fallen tree and had cut into it a comfortable and discreet chair for my guest that, placed as it was on the far side of the open tent, blended seamlessly with every other table. I can't tell you how much that meant to me, as a bride who just wanted all of her guests to feel so loved and taken care of, that he and his team could make that happen overnight, without a second thought. I still cry when I tell that story. If you're lucky enough to have Thomas and Naomi, and their whole team, on your team you're almost guaranteed to have the most beautiful peaceful delicious wonderful extravagant elegant timeless unimaginable magical tender loving wedding you could ever imagine.
