Small camping location. There's not a lot of camping spots. You are literally right next to your camping neighbors and hear and smell their camp. It's not a good place to go if you want to camp, not right next to someone. A nice quarry to go swimming in if you know how to swim. No lifeguards and extremely deep water, swim at your own risk!

I was here for the Natural Remedies Campout and it was a perfect venue for our group. The art installations give the place a very whimsical and imaginative vibe. The quarry itself is one of the best swimming holes I've been to in recent memory. Great temperature for mid-July, clean water, plenty of places to drop your towel and hang out, and only a short walk from the campsite. Town is only 15 minutes in either direction so you don't feel stranded. Be aware: no sunscreens in the water, so you have to shower off before getting in, which means you have to be very intentional with your sun protection. Don't be like me and try to skip sunscreen, though. (Owwie.) Mosquitoes are an issue, so bring your spray and candles. The quarry has no shoreline, but there's a big dock and some amphitheater-style steps in the hill.

Great location for large groups! There is plenty of space for parking and overnight stays. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the hosts!

It was beautiful! I loved going here, and swimming was amazing. It was Incredibly fun to walk around and look at everything. I would highly recommend going for most people! I’m definitely going to come back this summer.
