From our initial tour, our final walk through, the rehearsal, and the wedding day, my experience with the Historic 1625 was wonderful. Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful & exactly what I was looking for, but the staff was great to work with. Lindsey was incredibly organized and sent detailed reminders leading up to our big day. It really helped keep us on track with the planning. When the wedding day arrived I was blown away at how stunning everything was. And that was before my coordinator put the added touches on everything. It was picture perfect as to what I dreamt of. Everything ran smooth. Their team works very well together. And I really enjoyed working with one of their partner caterers. It made everything so easy. I’m so happy I chose the Historic 1625 as my wedding venue. It was just perfect.

I was a DJ for wedding at the Historic 1625, and there's a lot to loke about this venue! First, the load-in was very simple. No stairs, just easily accessible ramps to get from point A to point B. You can park and unload very close to the double doors at the front. The venue has plenty of solid-feeling power outlets throughout. It has plenty of square footage and is AIR CONDITIONED, so great for summer weddings when it's toasty outside. The restrooms were easy to find double-layered restrooms. The Car showroom area is really neat and unique (just don't touch anything). The red brick walls in the two main rooms are fantastic textures for using uplights to make a very interesting effect. A very cool venue with few downsides!

We had our reception at 1625 a few weeks ago and it was beautiful. However, we had many problems with Lindsey. First, after touring the venue twice and said we wanted to do cocktail hour in the car room both visits she told us she had no idea we were wanting to do cocktail hour there until we reminded her 2 weeks before the reception in an email. During the 2nd tour of the venue with my parents and brother and husband my dad asked Lindsey if we were able to bring drinks to have while getting ready to which she responded yes. Then the day of the reception my brother comes in and brings his own alcohol to the grooms suite and the day of coordinator confiscates his alcohol and tells us we cannot have our own alcohol (keep in mind we supplied our own alcohol for the reception). When my dad confronted her she said she would call Lindsey and ask her what she told us. Lindsey told her that she told us no alcohol was allowed while getting things ready after we had 5 witnesses including myself telling us we could. We would not have cared had she said we could not bring it. After that the day of coordinator watched my brother for the rest of the night and made him feel very uncomfortable like he was the one who did something wrong when he was just going based off what Lindsey had told us. Then during cocktail hour, I was told by catering that we had the car room for 20 more minutes then we would have dinner. Well then not even 2 minutes later we were being ushered out of the car room saying we had to get out of the room and go back to the dining room. We were very frustrated that day and it seemed like no one was on the same page. She did however work will with mama stortinis to get everything set up the exact way we wanted.

Lindsey (Office & Event Operations Manager) was incredibly easy to work with. The day of staff member was also very kind and went above and beyond. The space is beautiful and would recommend as a wedding or party venue!

We visited this venue for an engineer ball. It is a beautiful building with tons of spaces that are great for photos. I would recommend for a wedding or formal gathering!
