Brown Family Homestead

Brown Family Homestead is an incredible property with an amazing team running the scenes! We were so impressed with the ease of communication, upfront cost information, connection with local vendors and tips/tricks to make the day run smoothly. The venue is truly magical and our friends and family still rave about the space 2 years later. The dance floor is the absolute perfect size to keep the party jam packed all night! Lodging was a little tricky but most our guests had no issues staying in Leavenworth and shuttling to the wedding (which we coordinated with the help of the Brown team!) and immediate family stayed in homey Airbnbs nearby. We loved our cozy stay in the treehouse as a couple! Cannot recommend enough; the "bang for your buck" is out of this world!

On May 28, 2022, Erik and I were married at the Brown Family Homestead, a place that somehow felt both breathtaking and deeply grounding from the moment we arrived. We spent the night before our wedding surrounded by our bridal party, tucked into the homestead and soaking in the quiet excitement before the day ahead. That sense of togetherness carried through the entire weekend, including the night of our wedding, when staying on-site and in the treehouse made the celebration feel unhurried and intimate, like time slowed down just for us. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful. Rolling green hills, towering trees, and wide-open skies created a setting that felt timeless and peaceful. Leavenworth has a magic to it no matter the season, and the homestead captures that perfectly. It is rustic, welcoming, and rich with history. You can feel the stories in the land, and it made our own feel that much more meaningful. The team at the homestead was phenomenal throughout the entire planning process. They helped keep us organized, answered questions with patience and care, and truly felt like partners in bringing our day together. That support made such a difference, not just logistically but emotionally. It allowed us to be present and enjoy the experience instead of worrying about the details. Our guests loved every part of the venue, from the ceremony space to the grounds where everyone could wander, connect, and relax. We chose one of the homestead’s suggested local caterers, and they absolutely delivered. The food was amazing and added to the warmth and joy of the celebration. Looking back, our wedding felt exactly like us. It was personal, relaxed, full of love, and rooted in a place that will always hold special meaning. The Brown Family Homestead did not just host our wedding. It held our memories, our people, and the start of our marriage in the most beautiful way.

From our initial conversation and booking to the day of our wedding Brown Family Homestead was amazing! Amanda was so timely in all her responses and so incredibly helpful and kind. All of our vendors (minus our photographer) were from their recommendations, and let me tell you these companies were recommended for a reason! The day of our wedding was incredibly hot and they were ready with cold towels and guiding us through a plan for our guests. Megan was the most amazing day of coordinator (highly recommend getting the day of coordinator add on, it’s so worth it!) and we were so thankful to her and all her hard work getting everyone where they needed to be and making our day run so smoothly! The only caution I’d give is the Homestead House only had two AC units (one window unit in the kitchen and one in one of the bedrooms), so the house got incredibly hot during the day (we chose to rent the house day before and day of , which I’d also highly recommend for getting ready purposes!) so I’d recommend to bring extra fans! Otherwise everything was absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough, they truly are the best!!

My husband and I recently held our wedding at Brown Family Homestead, and we cannot recommend it enough! The venue was absolutely everything we were hoping for. The entire property is stunning and well-kept, many of the guests even commented it was the most beautiful venue they'd ever attended a wedding at! We had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding at the Brown Family Homestead this past May! The venue was very accommodating to our wedding needs and was easy to work with. Our coordinator Amanda was very organized and helped get us ready for our big day. We booked the Airbnb Friday-Sunday for our Saturday Wedding. Everyone had so much fun hanging on the property both nights and it was so nice having a spot to get ready in. The venue itself is stunning and the tent worked out perfectly as we did have some rain on the big day. The venue and packages have a lot to offer at a fair price. If we had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing!
