It’s everything that you expect. Great views, awesome history. Gift shop is fun, and yes there are crowds. We went around sunset on a rainy night, and as out-of-towners it provided a Seattle-stereotypically lovely time in the rain. We stayed a couple of hours just because it was so cool to look down on all the little landmarks and streets below. Definitely see the Space Needle at least once!

Better than I could have imagined!!! We got lucky in December to head up on a clear day - we went a day ahead of schedule whilst we had family visiting and were so thankful we jumped on the opportunity. The next day was so foggy we wouldn’t have seen a thing! We bought tickets on the door and the wait to get to the elevator was only around 20 mins, which gives you time to learn about the construction of the Needle for the world fair, plus a fun view of the gift shop from above. The tour guide in the lift was excellent - so hilarious and managed to pack a ton of info into a very short ride. The views are just breathtaking - surround sound mountains, city and water. Classic, beautiful Seattle at its best. There are 2 different levels to explore - one that rotates around and has a glass floor (not for the faint of heart) and one with an outdoor area. Don’t miss the cameras dotted around that will take your photo for free! The best place to bring visitors, will absolutely be back!

Amazing views especially around sunset. Definitely recommend buying tickets online ahead of time and reserving a time frame. The time slot is only to get in line (not the time you will reach the top of the space needle). Long lines (reminded me of Disneyland rides). Worth the wait though.

Im so glad I went up to the top. I paid 20 for the valet parking. The guys were super nice. What wonder experience up behind the glass I side super safe. My anxiety was throught the roof outside. It all was very safe but holy moly. The views were incredible. I would really like to visit at night and check out the views.

I had to wait only 5 minutes to enter after getting the virtual ticket from the kiosk installed near the entrance. There is a free storage facility for the standard carry -on luggage bag. The view from the space needle top floor is amazing. I recommend sitting in the revolving bar and enjoying the 360 degree view. There should be signs for Uber lyft pickup locations near the space needle tower.
