Its free and fast to get to from surrounding hotels. It was fun to just read and watch the bustling cranes and trucks moving about the docks.

This is such a cool place. I've lived here for 12 years and only discovered this last week. It's the closest you can get to watch ships being loaded and tug boats tugging.

It is an observation lookout with steps. Took my toddlers to watch ships offload on a slow day at the port to avoid the chaos of the port. Good way to get energy out of toddlers and to see commerce in action.

Not as bad as I was made to believe it was going to be. I took my daughter, her and I had fun it wasn't going to the circus fun, but more just happy to be hanging out with each other looking around to see what was there. It was our first time, as we arrived it still hadn't gotten to my little girl just what and where we were. Mostly I will say because there was only one ship in the area around us and it didn't carry normal cars like other normal ships may have of this kind. Instead it carried a very varied of assort and widely ranged at that.. so we just sat and looked around soaking in the ambience and the sun.

Neat area to view the shipyard action. It’s deep in the port but there’s a parking lot, can be funky to get here but you don’t have to go thru anything to get to it.
