Front Street is the historic center of what was North Yakima and now a crucial location for Downtown Yakima. Summer events can be found here, the old City Hall, Opera House, train station plus wineries, coffee houses, and restaurants. Worth a visit.

The Old North Yakima Historic District began in the 1880's and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. There are a lot of cool Historic Buildings and shops to visit.

Nice history and enjoyable walk. People are friendly. Quite a few closed shops but a good array of thrift and antique shops.
