Visited in April 2018: We visited the Museum of Pop Culture as part of our Seattle citypass and I'm so glad we did. The Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle is a vibrant, immersive celebration of creativity. The building itself is a showpiece, and the exhibits inside are just as striking—ranging from music history and sci‑fi worlds to video games and contemporary pop culture. The curation feels thoughtful and interactive, with plenty of hands‑on elements that make the experience engaging for all ages. It’s easy to spend hours wandering through iconic artifacts, sound labs, and beautifully designed galleries. A must‑visit for anyone who loves art, music, or storytelling in all its modern forms.

A very cool place to nerd out and easily spend the whole day. We visited during Halloweekend and it wasn’t busy at all, which made it even better to explore everything at our own pace. I definitely recommend setting aside plenty of time here, especially for the gaming and music rooms.

A very large museum filled with pop culture references. There was so much to see that there was bound to be something that appealed to you. I really enjoyed the interactive exhibits, like the Sound Lab and the Indie Gaming Room. There were also plenty of picture-worthy spots, such as the Guitar Display. We walked at a comfortable pace, and it took us nearly three hours to explore everything.

Such a cool experience exploring the Museum of Pop Culture. The sheer amount of music history here is incredible, from Jimi Hendrix to Nirvana. The 'Sound Lab' was a fun interactive touch, but my favorite part had to be the Sci-Fi and Horror sections—seeing the actual props from classic films was a highlight. The guitar tower is a showstopper and makes for a great photo op. Highly recommended for music lovers and movie geeks alike!

MoPop was definitely the way to go on a cloudy rain-day in Seattle. There was something for everyone there. I went with two friends. We took our time and submerged ourselves in all the exhibits. Record a song!!! Don't be scared, lol! It's one of our favorite momentos from this day. We sang Happy Birthday MoPop because it was the only song we knew all the words to. We were lucky enough to see the Horror exhibit, but we were sad the Fantasy exhibit was closed.
