Finally, we made it to Leavenworth during the winter time. I have been here, in the winter time, in so long. It snowed a little bit too. Love coming to Leavenworth, regardless of the season. It was nice seeing the holiday lights and people being festive. We were bummed that the Rollercoaster was booked, but its ok. There's always next visit. We mainly went to see the krampus show, but we ended up being disappointed by it. We were thinking it was gonna be a shower something, but he was just people walking around and taking pictures with people in the costumes. What was worse was it said the event was going until 10pm but it was pretty much done at 830. Overall, it was still a fun time. Got to eat lots of yummy food and hang out with friends. Definitely cant wait to come back :)

Wow. This place rocks! First of all it is absolutely stunning. But the whole atmosphere is really chill. You just don't get that huckster vibe in any way shape or form here. Prices are reasonable, people behave themselves in public spaces, those providing services are really considerate and kind. I only saw one police presence in the whole area yet people drove sanely. I can't tell you how impressive these observations are compared to most hot spots. The big draw here is the Christmas village. And yes... It is worth it and it is absolutely gorgeous. I truly recommend this destination with no caveats.

Such an experience to go there. Just two hours from Seattle and it already feels like you are in a different place. Snow, mountains, German/Bavarian-inspired establishments. 1. Reindeer Farm - must visit and try 2. German restaurants - long lines 3. Italian/other European restaurants - shorter lines, but also try the restaurants on the 2nd and 3rd floors as people dont get to see those much. Our life/hunger was saved by a 2nd floor restaurant that was still in the pack of restaurants but slightly hidden (Visconti's of Leavenworth). It was really good. 3. Gingerbread factory - I know theres a lot of hype on thjs shop on Reels/TikTok but if I'll let my bf describe it - "there was no factory at all or customization or something magical. You get into the store and youre like in starbucks buying pastries at the counter." I can't deny it was true though. We bought a couple of gingerbreads and they were fine.

10/10 great family vacation. Really enjoyed Leavenworth Ski Hill for tubing- make sure to go early to avoid the lines, the coaster at the Adventure park is a thrill, hotels within .5 miles of front street are best for a leisurely walk to shops and restaurants + you can avoid the extra cost for parking.
