Bigelow House Museum

LOVED the information about women's suffrage. Somewhat marred by the presence of historical information though. I came for political opinions, not to learn. Dunno what that other guy is on about.

Interesting history but marred by overly strong messaging about women’s suffrage, including a table manned by the members of the League of Women Voters advising me how to vote on legislative issues. I came for history, not politics.

If you live in Olympia, or are just visiting, we'll worth a visit to the Bigelow house. Early history of Oylmpia and people who settled here.

This one of my favorite historic houses. The fact that they still have so much stuff from the family and use it to decorate the house really helps you get a sense of who they were. I forget my tour guides name but she was wonderful! Definitely go here if you have the chance.

My husband and I spent 2 hours touring the house....The docent was so knowledgeable ...he was a walking encyclopedia! What a wonderful experience. We definitely would recommend the tour to everyone who is interested in history, arcitecture, & historic homes.
