Went to check it out because it's part of History . It's located by a cute little park on the beach. It is suggested to see it at night too because the flash of your phone makes it look like it's glowing. Absolutely free to go to. It's all roadside parking. Looks like it's next to an apartment

Thought it was a gay bar at first. It wasn't. Oh well, but it is a beautiful little park with memorial benches. Perfect views especially at sunset.

This is the best Acid Ball I have seen, and I've seen a lot.

A fun little park to sit and enjoy the waterfront, birds and bikes cruising around! The Acid Ball is a landmark in downtown Bellingham and a great photographers subject!

I was able to sense some sort of internal shift within myself as I approached the Acid Ball for the first time. Somehow, I'm exactly the same as I was, but also so, so different at the same time. I'm unsure if I recommend. On one hand, I fear what is happening within myself, but on the other, I would not go back to the way things were if I were given that option.
